i've imagined worse things i guess. but dog fights.... real horror. especially if you care about the dogs, and are responsible for their lives.

Most of the heavier fetish stories that work for me could probably be considered horror to some. To me, too, actually.

It's usually when they're written well enough to explore the psychology involved instead of just acting like whatever horrifying thing is being done to someone is just a kinky game. I read part of such a one yesterday and couldn't keep going, I was shaking too badly.

Didn't stop me from making use of it, of course. It's just never really pleasant to see just how ugly your turn-ons actually are.

The disturbing thing is that most of my horrifying fetishes were developing years before I actually had a functional sexual system. Makes me wonder if everything that's wrong with me is all "nature" and no "nurture". One can be worked on, the other is ingrained.

kuo taught us that the nurture starts well before birth. so... probably stuck with it either way.

and the things that get us in the libido are well devloped long before we ahve a use for it.

so just try not to think about it too hard. just makes it take longer.

Can't help it - something affects me on a primal level and my skin keeps crawling for days.

And anyway I'm saying I basically had a libido as a child.

i was born libidinous. but makes no evolutionary sense to have such an early use for it. well, actually it does, but that's too dark for PG-13, so i'll leave it be.

*also, sunflower seeds, throws them to the winds too* MIND THE SHRAPNEL

well, there's an obvious advantage to survival in a nasty world there, but can't throw the caution that far away.

The sad part is that not only did I remember that exact IRC quote from ten-plus years ago without being at home to check my log, I also remembered how Quick typed his screenname, and I didn't even like the bastard.

Most of my IRC memories are pleasant enough, and Sick, Sad World is an entirely different set of pleasant memories. "Meet the cannibal with a heart - quick, before he eats it! Next on Sick, Sad World"
