Well, Covai's topic got me thinking, and i realised i haven't been RPing Arienna lately. Since i didn't want to hijack his topic, i figured i'd make my own.

What's happening with your pick up Jehaine? We really need to get you back to the Stedding and your Sage check up completed.  :)

 

Other than that, Tig's char, Seth, is having his Sage check up now and Kara's char has done hers, so they're both available as is my Wanderer, Rhya. Happy to bounce ideas around with you. Alternatively, the Open Inn RP is still sitting and you could jump on there and we could maybe move that forward too.

Last i checked it was still running actually, there was some (IC) trouble with her starting to talk to wolves and almost lose her mind, but the thread kind of stalled i'm afraid.

 

I have some long term plans for her, but yeah... I'd need to get to the Stedding first. First impressions and everythiong, you know ^^;

Yep I know hun. Erik hasn't been logged in since the end of June, so I imagine he's been busy in RL.

 

You could leave the Pick Up and start the Sage check over just with you and Kara's character? If you'd like... so that you can move on and finish the other up later. At least that would allow you to start RPing.

Hmm... Well, i want to do that, but there are still a couple of questions i need answers for before being able to do more than guess blindly.

 

For one, Arienna went ballistic on Erik at some point, and he had to 'sever her connection to the wolves' if i recall correctly. Erik thought ICly that the connection would heal again over time, but yeah... There are still 'vague-ities' like that that make doing an intro a bit harder.

 

Add to that that Arienna isn't the most likely to embrace a group of strangers for no apparent reason other than having the same eye color she does, and you can understand where the true problem lies.

Ok, well the other option is to have Erik called away so that he hands over to another Tracker and they can take you back to the Stedding.

At this point, i'm pretty much okay with anything. It started on March 13th, and the last post was over a month ago on June 28th. I'd prefer to get the thread finished the normal way, but yeah... With Erik pretty much gone LOA there's not much chance of me joining up with the Wolfkin anytime soon, is there? ^^;

Exactly hun... Owen's taking a look at it now. I've asked him to take it over so we can get you moving on again.  :)

 

 

Edit: In fact, he and I both will, Rhya's gonna come along too lol.

if your talking about wolfsbane i had rescent contact with him (he is my pick up), he lost his nettwork conection for about one and a half month, but its back now by what i got so he should be around soonish again

Either way, the takeover from WhiteWolf didn't happen yet, as the two groups (Owen and Rhya, and Arienna and Erik) haven't met. If Erik and Owen get together and figure how how the thread's going to go from there then i'm happy ^^

Erik knows we've taken it over, I PM'd him at the time. So we'll just continue as is now since we've started and Erik can concentrate on Liitha's pick up.

In that case, how should we arrange the two groups meeting? I know next to nothing about the Pickup myself and you already posted, so it'd have to be either Owen or Erik to link the groups up ^^;

No, sorry hun, forgot to let you know. He injured his finger pretty badly and hasn't been able to type.

Ah k, as long as he didn't forget about it it's okay i suppose... ^^;

 

In addition to the finger injury, he had upgraded to SP 3... and that somehow royally screwed up his graphic settings.  I'm still not sure if he's gotten them sorted out, but it's forcing his screen rez into something too tiny to see DM properly in.

 

He system restored back to an earlier date, but I think that it still messed up somehow

 

If anyone knows anything about fixing that, I'm sure he'd appreciate assistance in that matter :D

That's the second time i've heard SP3 messing everything up. It installed normally for me, though i'd have to mention my comp is ancient (October 2004, never upgraded since) and should be pretty much compatible with anything for not supporting all the latest novelties ^^;

Yeah I had problems with it too. It wasn't compatible with Zone Alarm Pro. If ZA was running, I couldn't connect to the internet at all. Had to remove it in the end and just use the XP in built firewall. But that was a known issue. Haven't heard of the screen resolution problem.

Well, the main problem is that it's an intro thread, where my character's supposed to be taken to the Stedding. If Owen's okay with it (he's leading) then i'm fine with it as well, but yeah... He's planning this one, not me ;)

It's been almost seven months(!) since the thread was made. I can take a bit of delay, but this is getting ridiculous...

i'd poke wolfsbane he is just returned and around, owen and tay is known to had puter problems but should also soon be back, last post was made in aug, so either someone forgot, or everyone is waiting for someone else to reply, which in case you can trigger by bumping with your own reply in case they use reply notification ;)

 

otherwise a pm reminder to involved players never hurts ;)

Well, Me and Tay were the last one to post, and Owen was supposed to take over from Erik in leading me to the Stedding, but yeah... The two groups haven't met up yet and i don't have anything to work with atm, not enough for a post anyway.

there is always the option to skip ahead, leave references to journey in the grey, and then go back and finish the journey in retro later ;)
