So when do we think A Memory of Light will be on the shelves

I pray we wont have to wait past october of 2007.

Anyone have an educated guess? Factoring in delays due to his health issues.

Even if RJ had been at full health, I think Ooctober 2007 is quite optimistic.

AMOL should be much longer, maybe twice as many pages as the average book. It's also the book where RJ has to make very sure he hasn't missed any important things, because there'll be no room for him to save it by putting it into the next book. He can't exactly publish a little volume with "Ooops, here's what I forgot".

I think later half of 2008 is the best we can hope for.

How long is it been between two books in the past?

I only started the books a while ago - so KOD was the first one I waited for.

But I agree that there is no way he will be done by Oct 2007.

Just think that that's about the time people hope for the last Harry Potter - and HBP came just before KOD didn't.

So I expect AMOL to be much more work and rapping up then finishing HP + RJ is ill.

The books from PoD till now seem to have been roughly 2 years apart. This is based on my foggy memory though. :) However, based on this, and based on the assumption that aMoL will be twice as long as the average book, then my guess is October or November of 2009.

Damn...

I think the earliest we can hope for is Winter of 2008, and probably the latest it will come will probably be winter 2010

well i'm an optimistic sort so i think it will be ready for christmas 2007. when said it would be

of course us aussies will have to wait til feb 2008 if thats the case.

I would say it is no way that can happen. Not with his amyloidosis having delayed the writing process with several months. In addition to that you have the fact that this will likely be the longest book of the bunch.

late 2008' date=' or mid 2009[/quote']

I think so too. Geez, I don't want to wait that long...
