Taeadra drummed her fingers on the table in her room, her mouth tightly set as she tried to work through the events that had happened with her Warder since returning to the Tower. Tae had to admit to herself that there was simply no logic to Mariasha's behavior.

She had put herself in Mari's position time and time again in her mind and always came to the same conclusion.  Mari defied logic. Simply put!  The woman was making no sense at all.  She should be furious with Tae for leaving the Tower on her own, she should be livid with Tae for having masked their bond for so long. She should have been many things.  But she was not.  She was....happy.  Happy!

Tae shook her head and began pacing around her room.  "So long as I may live I doubt I will understand that woman." she breathed to herself. Her eyes swept along her bookshelves and the unattended packages still lying in the corner of her room.  She'd been to intent on puzzling out Mari's reaction to her return to deal with the dust or packages.

Turning suddenly she stormed out of her room and headed toward the library.  Perhaps if she could speak with Raeyn she would be able to understand her Warder.  "Perhaps not, however, perhaps I will never understand her. Light!"

She searched Raeyn's usual hiding places amoung the books, but didn't find her old friend anywhere.  Instead she spent several hours digging through various philosophy books until she found a few to her liking. She let the Brown Sister who was watching the library know that she would be borrowing them, knowing that at some point Raeyn would show her face to request the books back.

As she was making her way back to the White Ajah quarters, she spied a Novice looking lost in thought as she walked the Halls.  "You there child.  Yes, you. what is your name?"

The Novice bent into some semblance of a curtsey and replied, "Sarena," Tae arched her eyebrow and eyed the girl harshly, "Sarena, Aes Sedai. My name is Sarena."

"Very well child, follow me.  I trust you have nothing else to do at the moment or I wouldn't find you wandering the Halls as such?"

The girl nodded her head, then shook her head, and Tae suppressed a grin.  Taeadra didn't speak as the walked, not until they were nearly at her room.  "I have been away from the Tower for some time and since you have nothing to do at the moment, my room could use a good dusting."

Tae opened the door to her room and sat herself at her table. She opened one of the books she had brought back at random. After a moment she peered over the book at the girl who was figiting at the doorway, "Well, must I teach you how to dust girl? I assumed you would know what to do, but I am sure I can make a lesson out of it if you would prefer."

OOC:  Okay, here's the start hun.  :)  Have fun.  Just a few notes:  Taeadra is an interesting White...outwardly very harsh, especially with N&A's and well..pretty much every other Aes Sedai out there ;)  Though she is pretty emotional too and can be pushed easily.  Her room is sparse...very sparse.  A large bed, three bookcases (each of them holds at least one shelf that is protected by a nasty weave that will zap ya good), a table, chair and wardrobe.  that's pretty much it.  Have fun, get in trouble if you'd like ;)  and yes, Tae loves to talk....when you can get her started.

Sarena had been in the library for what seemed like hours. Looking up from the book on fire weaves, she groaned slightly from the cramp that suddenly appeared in the back of her neck. As she eased herself off the seat she realised that her whole body had all but gone to sleep as well. Walking carefully to where she replaced the book on the shelf, Sarena then limped out of the library hoping she wasnt too late for dinner.

As she walked down the hallways she noticed that she had taken a wrong turn somewhere. While she was looking round for something familiar, a harsh voice seemed to come out of nowhere,

"You there child.  Yes, you. what is your name?" Sarena whiped around and her whole body spasmed at the sudden movement. Sarena then tried to curtsey to the Aes Sedai but she feared that if she dropped any further her legs would come out from underneath her.

"Sarena" she replied but the hurried on "Sarena, Aes Sedai. My name is Sarena."

The white clad Aes Sedai went on "Very well child, follow me.  I trust you have nothing else to do at the moment or I wouldn't find you wandering the Halls as such?" Sarena nodded her head at the first instruction, then shook her head at the second comment.

Sarena then followed the Aes Sedai through a miriad of corridors and hallways. Sarena was pondering on whether to say anything or not when the White Aes Sedai spoke,

"I have been away from the Tower for some time and since you have nothing to do at the moment, my room could use a good dusting." 'Ah well I wasnt really hungry anyway'.She thought glumly, then her stomach decided to betray her by grumbling loudly. Sarena looked up to see if the Aes Sedai had noticed the noise, thankfully she hadnt.

Sarena was grateful when the Aes Sedai opened a large door and entered, she stood at the door unsure of what to do next as the Aes Sedai seated herslf at a desk and began reading a large dusty book. After a few anxious moments the Aes Sedai looked up from her book, "Well, must I teach you how to dust girl? I assumed you would know what to do, but I am sure I can make a lesson out of it if you would prefer." Sarena hurried into the vast room and let out a small "Yes, Aes Sedai". She decided to start dusting the bookcase closest to her and furthest from the seated Aes Sedai. Finding that she had a clean hankerchief in her pocket she began dusting the top shelf of books. As she was dusting he noticed some of the book titles, some of them she had borrowed from the library a few months earlier. She had quite enjoyed some of them but had alot of question she wanted to ask but Loraine Sedai said that she didnt really know much on the subject and she was better to ask an Aes Sedai from the White Ajah. Now Sarena had her chance, glancing over her shoulder she noticed that the Aes Sedai was stareing off into space. Not stopping what she was doing she took a deep breath and asked Excuse me Aes Sedai, but I was wondering if I could ask you some questions about some of the books that you have here?.

Taeadra found herself reading the same paragraph from the book she had selected for the third time and finally looked away from it. Too many thoughts intruded her mind and made delving into the book far more difficult that it should have been.

Since her arrival at the Tower, the one activity that always eased her mind and her thoughts was reading. But since she had returned, even a book could do little to still her thoughts. She'd spent a day seeming to aimlessly wander the Tower and had heard snippets of what had transpired in her abscence.  Most of what she had heard left her with a feeling of unease.  The timing of my return could not have been better....or worse...she thought to herself.

She knew many of her fellow White Sisters disagreed with her need to keep her hand on the pulse of the Tower. Though she was just as committed to the search for the Truth as they were, she had never believed that truth could be found by stealing oneself away from the dealings of the world. A philosophy that had found her in more than one heated debate within the White Ajah. She knew that soon she would find herself in the midst of another of those debates. Though she had managed to avoid most of her Sisters since returning, the White Ajah would not let her avoid their questions for much longer.

Her thoughts were interupted then by the girl in her room. Excuse me Aes Sedai, but I was wondering if I could ask you some questions about some of the books that you have here?.

Normally, Taeadra did not entertain the fancies of girls here for training. Especially one she had set to a task, but she noticed the girl did not so much as slow in her chore. That combined with Tae's need to change the direction of her thoughts made her place the book she was holding down and regard the girl before answering.

"Not many Novices would know much about the books I have in my room. Many find my readings to be...dull or even not necessary. I'm curious as to your questions.  You may ask what you like."
