The AoL is widely believed to have ended with the Breaking. Yes.

After roughly 1200 years, they had The Trolloc Wars. After another roughly 1000 years, they had the War of a Hundred Years (end of Hawkwing's reign), and now we are another 1000 years into it.

It is all one Age still. The WOT-encyclopaedia show it is still the Third Age, which I believe is correct.

;D It is 3,000 years basically.

Not this fiction.

You said 'all worlds'; you did not specify any particular set.

Wheel of Time, Moiraine told that the world of the Aelfinn & Eelfinn was/is like folded which implies some other shape than round.

About we being the First Age, that might not be so.

The books told of Mosk and Merk (Moscow and America, I take Cold War) and of Queen Elsbet (Queen Elisabeth).  Do not recall any reference to any more recent events in our history being attributed to the First Age.

Some point in our history after those might be the start of the Second Age.

When does Moiraine say that?

And it does necessarily mean she was talking about the shape, but the reality.

Don't understand your thing..you say it might not be, then start providing evidence for it.... o.0

Shadow Rising Chapter 15

From the paragraph (Moiraine speaking)::

That world is...folded...in strange ways.

I told some point after might be the beginning of the Second Age.

I think it is in the future of our Age...

In 'our' future, some monk discovers channeling.

I still think she is talking about the reality of their worlds, not the shape.

reality of worlds/world, that is too vague.  What do you mean?

She says that their world is folded.

I don't think she means the literal shape, but instead the way it works.

Maybe that is why they can see people's futures and answer their questions.

Becuase reality does not work the same way as in our (Randland) world.

Kinda like you can go from A to B by bending (or folding) space and time. That old theory thing. I see it similar to that.

I really don't know any specifics, but I think this kinda might maybe perhaps explain it.

The way something works, that is often related to the shape of the something.

Besides the world of the Aelfinn & Eelfinn, other worlds might be some other shape than round; especially the ones that cannot be reached by Portal Stones.

True....

But, I believe the planet itself is round, as is Randland world.

If it was not, that would make it different from what people normally think, and that is usually when the author points out the difference.

Well I believe our part of this discussion is at a final agreement Ed, I won''t mix in with you and mb yet, maybe later.

hahaha, we're all over the threads...lol no worries on argument points, plus i'll get in on this new one you and mb have later today.  Just gotta form my opinion first...still off work for the next week so knee deep in catching up on Mad Men...love it!

lol..

Ok...after your logical line of thought *crosses fingers*, you will agree with me. ;)
