The Starscape books annoy me!

The new Sarscape books annoy me, and they annoy me allot. Mind you I will probably by them as I collect anything associated with Wheel of Time, but they still annoy me. I think the fantasy community should try to get away from the fantasy was meant for young adults belief that so many seam to have, not add to it. I mean it do not help to just heavy haded cut away stuff from the WoT books to make them suited for 10 year olds. It annoy me when I find adult fantasy books in the kids section at book stores, and I think these books will add to that. I mean there is allot of kids fantasy out there, and allot of it is pretty good. I mean the first books I remember well that my mother read to me when I was little was a story of a little ghost that woke up during the day and turned black and his quest to become white again, and some books about a colony of friendly sea monsters, where the main character was something as unfortunate as a sea monster that could not swim, and it went from there, increasing in complexity until I was in my early teens and begun to read adult fantasy books. I mean there are fantasy and science fiction books, TV series, comics and so in scores already out there intended for children. Come to think of it, I think only one or two of the TV series I saw as a child was not fantasy or Science fiction. And that is good, speculative fiction is good for children, it make their imagination soar. But many seam to have a problem getting that not all speculative fiction is suited for kids, and these new cut down WoT books I think will add to the assumption that fantasy is for kids, and in turn make it more difficult for authors to get adult fantasy published, so yes the new children's books annoy me.
