The weary Brown made her way through the hallways of the tower her braided strawberry blonde clanking softly as she walked. Finally she was home after her adventures in the outside world. She never realized until now how much like home this place felt to her.

The multitude of heavy book on her back weighed her down. They had not bothered much until now but she was so tired at the moment she could barely keep her eyes open. Making her way swaying into the library Liara flashed a smile at the Brown sister working at the front desk, before making her way towards the Brown's quarters. Though she did not making then a few more step when a wave of exhaustion come over her. She found a near by desk and chair figuring was would just relax a moment but instead fell fast asleep in the middle of the library.

The fire crackled in a small fireplace in the Library, as Serena sat back and read up on Shadowspawn. The Blue wrapped her long, tight fitted, blue coat around her shoulders, as a slight chill seemed to waft through the tiny cracks in the walls of the White Tower. Reading up on the Dark One and his minions had become a past time of Serena's lately. She had taught classes on them, and seemed to be studying up on them as much as possible. Shrugging, she supposed one could never know enough about the enemy.

A slight commotion arose from behind her, as she turned over her shoulder to look, she found herself quite perplexed at the image of a Sister passed out at one of the tables. As the woman's back and chest rose with each breath, Serena was sure the woman had merely fallen asleep while reading. It was not unusual. Biting her lower lip, the Blue furrowed her brow and studied the Aes Sedai carefully. The long strawberry blonde hair tied back in a braid reminded her of someone she had known. Now, who did it remind her of?

Before she knew it, she was walking towards the slumbering Sister. Her soft leather boots hardly made a sound on the stone floor. As she approached the sleeping woman, Serena bent down to get a better look at the Aes Sedai's face. Light, it's Liara Casden! Serena had known the woman while Liara was a novice, then Accepted. The Brown Sister had been raised to the Shawl right after Elyssa Liet, Serena's Ajah Sister.

Shaking her head and smiling softly, Serena gently laid a hand on Liara's shoulder. As the other woman stirred, Serena greeted her. "Welcome home, Sister. Your trip has been long and trying, I'm sure. Do you need help to your rooms? Or should I send for tea?" The Blue's emerald eyes glistened as she welcomed Liara back to the Tower.

Liara awoke with someone’s hand upon her shoulder. Slowly she raised her head from the desk. As she did the beads in her Tarabon style braided hair made a soft clanking sound. "Serena, is that you?†she said as she looked at her fellow Aes Sedai through sleep swollen eyes. “I must have fallen a sleep when I meant to just sit down a moment." Liara flashed her a smile, "That is not first time that this has happen and I'm sure it will not be the last. As for help I would appreciate some and a nice cup of tea sounds refreshing." With that said Liara stood and handed Serena two rather large books and picked up the other four herself. Liara headed to the back of the library and up set of stair, turn to look at Serena she smiled, "I don't know how my room is going to look after being gone to so lone."

After walking down the hall a bit Liara turned and faced a door and pulled out a bonze key and put it into the lock and turned it. As she did the lock made a soft clicking noise before Liara removed the key and started to open the door. Her first push on the door did not cause it to budge a bit. "Oh, my I must have had an avalanche, again." With the full force of her weight, Liara slammed herself up against the door and it finally opened.

Stepping inside Liara looked around her room a minute. Books covered in dust were stacked up along all the walls. Several of the stacks had fallen over leaving book spud across the floor and more books cover the bed. Liara headed for a small writing desk towards the middle of the room facing the door was covered in parchment. "Ah, just as I left it if only a little dusty her." Gently Liara place the books in her arms on the desk and offered to take the ones Serena was carrying as well. The only piece of furniture in the room that did not have books on it was a comfy looking chair that was covered in dust.
