He's the pudgy, bearded-man-holding-a-book ter'angreal that the girls found in Ebou Dar. It was in a question of the week, once.

I though that was supposed to be George R.R. Martin.

Nope, he gave his book a blurb, and that's all he gets. If he wants more, he'll have to finish a Dance with Dragons first.  :P

Appearances is plural, think he's found elsewhere too? I never thought to look for something like this.

He shows up in Westoeros. There is a House Jordayne of the Tor, and mention is made of an Archmaester Rigney, who has a theory of cyclical time.
