Go with Erikson.

oh, and I did some exploratory readings of Brian Sanderson to reassure myself of WoT's future.

Barm, I agree.  :D You need to read Erikson. And... Anything else I've read.

books cost me about 30 bucks here, incidentally, so I don't tend to read new ones straight away.

 

What's a good book by Erikson?

Gardens of the Moon. He's only done one series, and Gardens of the Moon is the first book in it.

The irritating thing is that it's really quite hard to find Erikson's books (aside from the latest) round here. :P

I found gardens of the mon today, after i re read wot I plan to read sanderson, and then reread kod to get ready for the new book then I will start GotM

Thats a long list of stuff to read. Skip wot and sanderson, just start in on gotm.

I've bumped up the date for me to read Deadhouse Gates to the 17 of this month.  I almost want to just open it up right now, but I really want to get some things read first.

I am on kod now. I like my plan allows me to stick to my timeline, but times change and plans never stay the same

I might try to track down a copy of GotM after Easter.
