Yes, that I did, you need to learn your place, the wife/mother is supposed to be the boss of the house and order everyone around, including the husband/father :P lol

I'm sick. he prefers the easy supper of corndogs in the fry cooker which he can get off his lazy bum and do it himself. and he's at work for another 4 hours so I ain't gotta cook anything. :P

Because it doesn't work that way, if I want DINNER I will usually help myself and see if there's anything I can make her for DINNER while I'm at it, the cliches about wife/mother either having the place of in the kitchen, or ordering everyone around the house are both a load of $h|t IMHO, but they're fun to joke about ;D

they are, actually, lol. I like to see a man cooking supper since it was true for me growing up cuz my dad didn't know how to cook and my step dad was so picky he'd only cook for himself. actually, I need to call mom up for those three recipes... macaroni soup, potato soup (2 kinds), and that rice mix we created by accident that I love so much. so four I guess :P

last time my hubby joked about me being barefoot, pregnant and cooking his dinner he earned himself a black eye ;)

Pregnant? I would ONLY make the joke as I was walking to the kitchen to cook myself, but that's hopefully a couple years off  ;D
