Movie with the Best CGI

Featured Replies

Wall-E looked spectacular, but I wouldn't count that as CGI, that's just a completely animated film.

As far as CGI in a "real" movie goes, I'll say... the new Star Trek. This movie had some really amazing cgi shots, and I found myself in awe of it. So there!

I think I can say the worst CGI I've seen in a long time, or at least in modern times is the CGI from Lost.  What crap.  Explosions look so freaking fake

Well yeah, but on the other hand the rest of the sets on Lost look fantastic

I love this show merely for the fact that they're filming in an actual jungle

Everything but the cgi looks amazing in that show

Hawaii is awesome and I'm not saying that just because I'm moving there

Carry on with the discussion ...

I agree the new ST had some pretty good CGI.

On a different note, isn't it funny to go back and see CGI from movies from a while ago? I saw Titanic on TV the other day and the iceberg looked incredibly fake. Like someone had drawn it on Paint. Yet I don't remember thinking it looked fake when I first saw the movie ten years ago.
