Yes, they even have my flipping prescription meds that I'm going to make my mom take me to pick up as soon as she's back from her paper route.

I ain't arguing, but I ain't complaining either.  My family could not survive if there was no such thing as Wal-Mart.  Our town wouldn't have anything else with prices so low.

That's the trouble, I think they underprice everyone else so they have to keep their prices high to stay in business. :-\

They try to do it here too, they own one of our supermarket chains, Asda.

I never thought of that before. *muses*

Yeah, can't say that I'm fond of that at all.

In our town, though, I don't know if it would make a difference.  Everything's locally owned and run, so prices are naturally higher.  Brown's Shoe store, for example.  Everything they sell is WAY too expensive; you can order the same shoes online for cheaper or go to a store in Iowa City and get them cheaper.  And it's not like Wal-Mart's selling any of the same shoes.  I've just noticed that local, small businesses are more expensive, since they can't get as much business.

And there's a lot more of us than there are of them.  No matter where you go in the world.
