Rec Union: The Student Activities Hall

Featured Replies

Hello all! I am adding a little thread for Kin U this year for us to chat and play and... well, stuff! Most colleges have Student Unions or Rec Halls, the purpose of which was to provide a comfortable area for students to get together and watch TV or play a game.

So we're creating the Rec Union here at Kin U!

This is the home of all things Halloween that you will find on TV, as well as random online Halloween themed games (that don't fit in anyone else's curriculum, anyway!). If you see something I missed, PLEASE feel free to toss a post in!

I'll also be starting the Official Kin Sanctioned Watch Night television shows. I'll do my best to keep them to things you get on basic cable so as many people as possible can watch and chat, too! :D I’ll try to get this list updated once a week and add anything you find to it, too! :D

Coming Soon!

October 19th starts the 13 Nights of Halloween on ABC Family.  (the Goonies!!!!! *dances around* And Hocus Pocus on the 24th at 6 PM!)

As soon as I figure out SyFy’s programming guide, I’ll add those, too. They started their 31 days of Halloween on the 1st.

Other stuff to watch:

Ghost Hunters on Syfy <-- Lor’s a BIG fan. :)

~awesome episode with Meatloaf (yes, the one that sang Anything for Love…)

The girls and I watched Goosebumps the other night. They loved it. They guy got a mask stuck on his face and turned into an old man. His friends saved him though.

I will have to set my tv for the Goonies and Hocus Pocus! I love those movies.

Thanks for the games! I knew I would not get any work done today. lol  :)

*grins* AWESOME! :D

I'll be adding the AMC collection when I do this week's update, Mashin, THANKS! :D

Ya'll keep me posted with anything else I need to add! I watched Twitches last weekend and I have to admit... I ENJOYED IT! I've actually never seen it before! Who knew? *grins*

Lor...your siggy makes me want to spin around the room singing "amok amok amok" at the top of my lungs ;D

Don't forget It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.  I was looking for it on tv but I don't see it listed for being on...wonder if they are saving it for closer to halloween.

I don't know, either, but I've been keeping my eye out for ABC's halloween listing. They're usually the ones playing it, most likely the week before Halloween. *sighs*

*grins* and I love Sarah. "My lucky rat tail!" *laughs*
