I don't want to turn this into a spam thread, but you haven't been speaking to my girlfriend? She usually does the same, and also ignores me!  ::)

total absence of mord-sith breath of life in books.

Now, I swear it is mentioned somewhere in the books...but where is the question...

Total blonde moment there! I put the wrong bit up in the quote (now edited). I meant the breathe of life; not R&K being together. Actually, that appears at the end of book 2! ;)

I'm sorry, I know I probably have overlooked it in this thread (but I looked), but, what is the name of the actress who played Nicci on the show on the tv?

Fish

''Treasures. Dealings. Lots of things in books.''

Emily Foxler was the actress who played Nicci lately. Before her, it was Jolene Blalock.

Hahaha yeah, but I meant the just plain weirdness of all the rhyming and such, and that fat chick, and Zed being a chick, etc.

As much as I'd like to agree with you on the Kahlan, I can't agree with Cara... while the actress does look like how I imagined her hair is too short, so is Kahlan's.

Agreed on the hair.  Too short.  And the personalities don't really match, either....I was mainly talking about how they look.  Besides, it's televison, who cares what they say, right?  ;D

I've never seen a TV/movie adaptation of a book or book series ever be better than the reading....ever.  Some might argue LotR....but I say no film can compare to the power contained within a book.

Showtime should have picked up SoT, not ABC.  Would have been a lot better personally.

The watchmen came close in my opinion. The comic's end with the alien seemed a little out of character with the rest of the piece.

Stardust. Hated the book; loved the film. It might have been because I saw the film first, then read the book...

*donces on the grave of the horribly done SoT show*
