So I’ve been inactive for a couple years now, but I find myself with some new found free time.  I’ve been reading the new book and it’s brought back a ton of great memories of my time at Dragonmount.  So, after some carful thought I’m going to try and come back.

 

I have a full Ranger character named Shepherd al’ Grey that I could start up with again, but I’m debating weather or not to come up with a new one.  I’m not sure of the activity level of things here with the Kin nor who the DM is or how things have changed.

 

Any advice on this front would be great.  I can’t wait to dust off the old RPG skills and sink my teeth into things again.  So, to any oldies out there, “I’m back!” and to all those I don’t know, “Hi! I’m Shep!”.

 

So, who’s out there, and any advice on where to start?

Welcome back to both of you........I never rped with you when we were here before Shep, but I saw your name bandied about and it'll be great to have another Ranger around.

Welcome back Shep  :) would be great to have another Ranger about. Owen is still our Admin, I'm the Assistant Admin as well as the Wolfkin DL.

 

Your bio for Shep is still archived and your scores are known, so if you do an update for it you can certainly jump right back in. If you'd prefer to start over with a new character that's fine too.

 

Activity is slow but steady compared to a year or so ago. We have some good writers at the moment, mostly Wanderers and a couple of Wolf Cubs (myself and Jaydena). You may know Nynaeve too? She's still here and plays our NSW Head Tracker plus her own Ranger. Any other questions, feel free to ask.

And Andular!!!  Brother, it’s been forever since you and I RPed together.  In fact, back in the day you gave me some of my first training, back when Merlin was still around.  I’d love to get the old ‘pack’ back, so to speak.

 

So I think I’ll keep Shep around, maybe meet some of the Wonderers.  Where are we in the official story line, anybody know?

Current storyline... Bowl of Winds is happening/just happened. BT and WT Reds are in process of bonding. Seanchan are arriving and the Daughter of the Nine Moons is going to be kidnapped so the Band are on the move. Manetheren has been re-created with an AS Queen and the BT/Band/WK Council is in place. I believe we're somewhere about Book 8 (someone correct that if it's wrong please, I always lose track lol).
