There are two free slots for CotL characters, at this point. I will gladly make this sort of RP available after this one is done, if someone who was interested didn't manage to get into one of the two free slots.  

 

If you were following the last discussion I started about the Hand's methods, you will have a vague idea of what this is about. Basically, your character goes to sleep all snuggly in his/her bed when suddenly, in the middle of the night, they are snatched away and find themselves taken to a place in the Fortress they don't recognize. The torture dungeons are a place mostly Questioners wander in, therefore no trainee would have been there before (limited access and all).

 

This snatching occurs to all CotL at some point of their training. The purpose of it is both to make sure they are loyal to the cause and also to teach them to withstand torture in case they ever get captured by any foes. After the night passes, the Questioner in charge decides if the CotL succeeded sufficiently. If it's found the CotL didn't perform well enough, he/she is released from the CotL service. This is NEVER spoken of after it happens. None of them shares the fact that they were snatched or what happened to them (sort of equivalent to Accepted never sharing what happened in their arches test).

 

This will count as a fulfilled character development requirement, as long as it's done till the end, of course. I think this is a REALLY exciting scenario to role play. It's a pretty big event in your character's life and will certainly influence them to some extent.

 

A word of caution: I will of course remain within the pg-13 rules, as far as the torture descriptions go. It will be more or less mild, but even that sometimes bother people. So, if you're sensitive to those sort of things, better sit this one out ;)

 

 

And one last thing... please only sign up if you're committed to this role play. What with there only being two free slots, I don't want any of the two that got the slot to abandon the RP, when others might have been interested.
