Hey ya'll.  My step-dad from Canada came all the way to Kentucky and introduced this country gal to the Wheel of Time...I've loved him ever since  ;)  That was about 11 years ago and I just keep reading the series over and over waiting for each new book to come out.  I was 12 when I started this and getting lost in this fabulous world of Robert Jordan's has been my only escape from a lot of hard times in my life. Still trying after 5 years to talk my boyfriend into reading but I think I've almost reeled in another one.  Drop by and say hi to me guys.

Welcome to Dragonmount! Please don't hesitate to ask questions, I know that it can be overwhelming. And don't give up on talking him into reading it! It's a life changer. :D

I've milked cows...slopped the hogs...wrung a chicken's neck....and collected the eggs :o

heh my bf has a mawmaw so i actually know what that is :p

how bout hunting? (and hey i prefer country living when it comes down too it too city living, sure its nice to have everything close, but there is something about the country...)

No I never went hunting but all my uncles did.  They brought home a deer one time and skinned it right in the front yard.  I loved deer meat until that day.  It was gross.  But I never could kill an animal except for the chickens and that was only cuz they pecked me all the time while I was giving them feed.  No joke! :-\

i was brougth up with it, so its normal for me, i probably learned to gut fish before i had even started in school...

my favorite part of fishing is probably the peace and quiet.  i agree with you about the sport fishing and stuff....it's not about how many fish you catch....it's about the fun of catching them  :)
