All Admins now have access here, not just to their own sections.

Hey all, as you can see from the thread up on the main staff board, all admin now have access to all private boards.

 

Personally, I try to be as familiar as I can with all aspects of DM.  As such, I'd like to request your permission to read and post on your private Div boards.  (Odds are I won't have anything to say most of the time, but just in case  Grin).  As is protocol on the org boards, if I swing by your private boards (ok, I originally typed 'if I swing by your privates', and that's just wrong) I'll post in any thread I read just to let you know I've been there.

Ajah Head, how you decide on this is up to you (discuss it with your members or not), but please let me know ASAP what the verdict is, so that I can give Kivam an answer.

I have an issue with this as Admins' have abused this and shared information off private boards in the past. However, should this be abused, I'd like to see firm consequences for it then there has been in the past.

So that's 1 "no", and that's enough for me - I don't want any of my Reds to be uncomfortable here.

 

 

I agree with Andrea. Aren't they private for a reason?

Guys, just remember that the WT Staff obviously also have access here, though I doubt any of them but Claire and I bother looking.

WT staff isn't an issue. It's the non-WT Staff (even if WT Members) that sneak their way in.

And may I add that it's wonderful to see the Blues getting so active and involved again! I know the Blues are traditionally small, but your impact is usually much larger than your numbers, especially where Tower politics and activities are concerned.  :D

An admin is an admin is an admin, to me at least.  But w/e. :)

I'm with Claire on this one.  Honestly, it seems silly to not let Admins of a site we play on, know what we're playing out since we have to have approval for stuff anywho.  As the admin of another website, if my members wanted to kick me out of an area on my own site, I'd have a few things to tell them about who pays the bills. Besides, it seems like having the admins here would make things a lot less work for us because they could more quickly tell us what isn't acceptable (for whatever reason) and keep us from wasting our time. 

 

It's not like we have state secrets to protect in here anywho.  But, also in the words of Claire "w/e" if it bothers anyone that much it's not like it's that big of deal to me that they aren't allowed here either.
