At HSX.com, visitors buy and sell virtual shares of celebrities and movies with a fake, virtual currency.  You get $2 million virtual moneys to start and buy stock in movies, celebrities, tv shows, derivatives, and bonds.  Make as much money as you can.  It's actually surprisingly addicting and very entertaining.

 

We already have some 'Chan members playing:  Myself, Empy, FDM, Guen, TheSteveMan, Sinister, and Barm.  Empy has been playing longest, so he has tons of money. 

 

We also have a league called 'Dragonmount', if you want to join, you can apply and will be accepted.

 

Everyone is welcome to join, and hopefully our league will grow exponentially.  The more, the merrier.  This could be a really good way to have fun as a group outside of the forums; and, of course, there are bragging rights on the forums.

My net worth is currently at $5,329,261.  I'm quite happy with my portfolio at the moment.  Sherlock Holmes 2 and Avatar 2 have already earned me over $200,000 each in less than a month.

 

The Thing Prequel premiered as an IPO today, so be sure to watch it closely over the next few days.  I bought 3k shares hoping it's a good investment. 

 

Right now the Book of Eli is my worst stock, decreasing in large increments, but I'm hoping it shoots up quickly so I can sell it and not lose too much.

 

The Lost Symbol, Dan Brown's book, is currently at $51.11 and I suggest buying it now while it's low.  I have a feeling it will make a lot of money within the next few months, especially once the release gets closer.

In other news, our Overl....Empress, may she live forever, has decided to join HSX.  This is a big move on her part, and I hope we will all honor her by signing up or increasing our participation

Yeah!  Just broke 6 million!

Sooo, A long long time ago when the rocks were soft, and mountains were mere hills, I bought stocks in the Conan Movie for H5 a pop.

I sold them today, H46! Thats a 920% increase on my original investment!

TO put it plainly, I bought 100,000 shares @H5, or H500K! @H46, That comes to H4.6M!!!

So I told ya Conan was a Winner!

 

However, I bought Shares in Highlander at H11, and they dropped down to around H9.80 so I sold em. Didn't hurt me to bad but my big pay off made that mis-adventure look like nothin.

I don't think I've looked at my account in over a year. I wonder how I did?

I'm up to 7.2 million, so I'd say I've done well for myself.
