This month:

Finished complete re-read through of WoT, about 2 days before my copy of ToM arrived.

Read The Ten Thousand and Corvus, both great books.

Just started a re-read of The First Law. Probably has my favourite fantasy character in it, which is Logen nine-fingers.

Next i am not sure. I've got the Prince of Nothing series I could re-read, Or a whole stack of Kathy Reichs books I was given <not really into that sort of thing though>.

Not sure, maybe buy something new.

This is my comics month so I have been reading the cosmic Marvel era and then heading to the 2008 Guardians of the galaxy run before the 2015 one. Currently at The End event.

Late at night, a few pages of the BWB every night before sleep.

During my commute to work, reading STAR TREK: THE ROMULAN WAY by Diane Duane and Peter Morwood (#35 Star Trek). It's a good one, if you like the Trek books. Fascinating! in fact.

A little embarassed by this but i've been reading Laurell K. Hamiltons Anita Blake series. Actually not too bad. Very quick reads. Fast paced with a lot of action. If christmas doesn't get here soon I'm going to end up reading them all. I really want to move on to TOM and WOK.

I'm reading Dies the Fire by S.M. Stirling and wondering why people are not making plate armor from car hoods.

Just finished Mark Jackmans Great right hope. Excellent British pub humour, a cross between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Shameless. Not recomended for younger readers but very funny.

Currently on House of Chains, good book, though nothing compared to the emotional roller coasters that was Deadhouse Gates and Memories of Ice.

Finished House of Chains today and about to start on Midnight Tides. Slightly apprehensive what with the all new characters and all.

For the past 2 weeks I've been reading Gardens of the Moon, first book of the Malazan Book of the Fallen novels, I'm either going through a readers block or this book is extremely tough to get trough, or both, or all 3 at once. Normally I would read a book this big in 3 or 4 days.

From my experience, it's mostly just that the book is hard to get through... I only made it through the first third, or so  and just couldn't make myself care about the rest. Have also heard from others that it's a difficult book to read for the first time, but the subsequent books/ rereads are a lot easier...

Currently I am reading:

The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Warlord by Jennifer Fallon

The Oddysey by Homer

Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch

A Feast For Crows by George R.R. Martin and

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

I've slimmed down the number I'm reading a bit, as you can see.

It's just laziness on my part.

Christmas was good to me. Not sure where to start for new reads. Got TOM, WOK, first four Malazan books, and a handfull of Xanth novels. Need to finish L.K. Hamiltons Blue Moon first and then probably TOM(duh).

I got Ed Greenwood's Shandril's Saga waiting on my desk. Going to read that soon enough.

Also got Fjodor Dostojevski's Crime and Punishment sitting on my desk, but haven't bothered with that yet. Too many fantasy books from Forgotten Realms to read before I can move onto new things.

I guess I'll be re-reading all WoT books too given the time, and money, since I'll be buying all the books in English. Got few of them in Finnish, but the translation system they used for the books is such a turn off (there's 2-3 books in Finnish per book in English, and they haven't translated Brandon's work at all), besides, reading in the original language the books were written in is always better. The jokes work better etc.

I've started a couple of new ones since Christmas, so currently I am reading:

Brothers Karamazov,

Red Seas Under Red Skies,

A Feast For Crows,

Shadow of the Wind,

Warlord,

The Odyssey,

Above the Snowline by Steph Swainston,

Doctor Who: the Space Pirates by Terrance Dicks,

and The Way of Kings, by some guy whose name escapes me at present.

Edit:

Now I'm reading:

Brothers Karamazov,

Red Seas Under Red Skies,

A Feast For Crows,

Shadow of the Wind,

Warlord,

The Odyssey,

Way of Kings,

Doctor Who: First Frontier by David A. McIntee,

Stonewielder by Ian C. Esslemont,

Already Dead by Charlie Huston,

Kraken by China Mieville.

Enough to keep me busy.

Finally started Towers of Midnight. Lot of Perrin so far. Mat just escaped the Gholam. Galad is more annoyingly righteous than ever. Rand seemed very zen in his appearance at the tower. Anyway, hope to finish ToM this week and move on to WoK.
