Hi everyone,

 

I created my account many days ago and I felt a bit guilty not to post anything so here it is.

 

I'm fond of books even if recently I must admit being a bit lazy.. I've read all books written by Moorcock and really enjoyed Elric Cycle, also Tolkien, Barjavel, Asimov (Fundations), James Ellroy, Edward bunker, Charles Bukowski, Jack Kerouac, Carlos Castaneda and many others I don't have in mind right now.

 

I just started Wheel of time this week end so it's really to early for me to speak about it.. will try to catch up asap.

 

Anyway congratulation for this forum, it's full of life and really pleasant to read.

 

Last point; I'm french and thus my english is not as good as I wish :) I'm trying to read Wot in english so it will just take me 2 or 3 times the normal time.. lol, I hope to finish it before 2010 :mrgreen:

    Yeah, do watch out for spoilers on the book discussion boards... elsewhere is pretty safe. There are so many people here for whom english is a foreign tongue, you will have no problems fitting in at all. In fact, we have had several french new members just lately... you could always PM each other in french to clarify any points of translation

     

    Enjoy readig the books. Hope you will get to like them as much as we do.

    just a friendly hint so you wont get bugged with PMs...your signature is to big acording to the rules ;) so you should shrink it to heigth max 100 and width max 500

    I'm progressing in the book and having a look here and there on the forum :mrgreen:

     

    I removed my sig so far and will adapt/redesign it soon
