Hey there. I've been reading WoT for the past few months now; and it's sucked me right in. I'm currently on the 5th book; if I had the time it would be the only part of my day.. That definitely sounded obsessive.

 

I have to admit that I'm ecstatic about being a part of this site, and hope to contribute some fan art of my own soon. :3

But as Adella said, there's more to this place than just the official WoT discussions - you'll find obsessive compulsive WoT fanatics everywhere!  :D

Oh, as Elgee pointed out, you are an artist and you seem like a good writer so I think you may like to check out the Artists, Crafters, Writers Guild. It would be a great place to show off your fan art! It is the the Social Group category up near the top of the list, check it out if you haven't already.

 

I know there is a lot to check out, if you have any questions PM people, we're all really nice and can point you in the directions you want to go!

Thanks for the welcomes and warning of spoilers [Although the books are so detailed and at times complicated; so I'm sure if I accidentally saw them I'd have difficulty puzzling them out anyhow.];

and I love role playing, although I haven't done it for a while it would be great for some practice; I've never seen WoT role playing but I'm sure it should be wonderful. ;D

 

If I have any time this weekend; I'd be glad to try and whisk something up as an example of my fan art. :3

Yeah, the roleplaying here is fun, and they have so many different divisions you could be almost anything you want. You can join the White Tower and be Aes Sedai or a Warder, they have the Children of the Light, I think they have Wolfkin in the RP too...There are so many I can't even think of. If you like that stuff you should check it out, you can become your favourite part of the Books!

 

The Social groups are lots of fun too. A little bit of fun structure but just mostly a place to hang around and have fun. Talk about your day and what not! DM is big and there is a lot see but its all great stuff and worth checking out!

You can even become a Trolloc or a Fade! Or a Tinker, or a ... well, every type of character you find in the Books ... lol

 

Or at the Social side, as Kat said, you're just yourself. There's something for everyone's interests there (including your fan art).
