Well, I have finally bought Knife of Dreams, as it is at last in paperback here in the UK!!!

Now, I will be reading it for the next few days, so I may not be around all the time.

Well, I have just started chapter 4, so we will see...but I am suspicious as the first word says "Perrin".

I have found the writing slow to begin with, so hopefully it will get better. I am only finding this after the great pace and engagement I found when reading Chainfire by Terry Goodkind. I don't care if people believe he has ripped off RJ (well, all fantasy authors have ripped each other off in various ways), but I find his writing one that I can really engage myself in, and thus enjoy his story telling.

Just wait until you find out that Loial is the Dark One AND Olver! And when you learn that the Children of the Light are secretly training mice to use as.. well, you'll see. I mean, Wow, I did not see that coming.

You guys don't ruin it for him! And please don't let him know that Perrin finally looses himself to the wolves in ch 23 and kills Faile

well....that dopes narrow down whats not in there...for my part, i haven;t read eithr 10 or 11 due to 10's reported slowness, and if corki is finding it worse than goodkind, then i may have to find a summary of that one as well!! i don;t like goodkind that much....far too slow.

You think Goodkind is slow???????? How dare you!!!!

*slaps some sense into Northie*

*wonders if Corki will slap her for agreeing with Northie*

I finished KoD last night, and RJ may have just written a book that contained the last few chapters!!! Nothing really happened until then!

And 12 must be going to be a book of epic proportions...

Got my hands on this about a fortnight ago (but had to skimread books 1-10 again before reading it)

Far far far far far far far far far far better than book 10 IMHO - more fighting, stuff actually happens, and a number of points that are really what im reading the whole series for.

Although i have to say a lot happened in chapters before the last lot - probably the last half of the book. The first half is far too much like 10.

However i was interested when prophecys start coming true - going by this, book 12 is gonna be great! - i love my theories being proved right!
