but the numbers reset when the post deletes and so 27000 is 27000 cause otherwise, you have no idea how many theyre off by. and theyre not cause erased is erased.

Nope, have you compared the post number in the corner with the posts it says the thread has when you look at the BT page?

i would not waste my time with such things. these numbers go in order. my OCD tends a different way.

but i have gotten 25, 26 and 27 now.

here, where it counts.

Ha, got it. Woo....

^this post has the number 27,003.

BUT, the thread itself says it only has 27,002 at the time of that post.

Yeah, DM double-posts are annoying... XD They count toward the thread's count, but not your post count, I've noticed.

Huh what?

It's only one off, so logically it means only one post has been deleted. XD

i can tell you for a fact i've deleted dozens and dozens.

only replies count, so that count should be minus one if that was the issue.

or perhaps only mod deleted posts make it go off.

cause if it's only one, you;re looking at the wrong deleter.

i never stop at one.

Okay, if you look up at the upper right hand corner of your post, it has a number. The post number.

If you look at the main BT page, and look at how many replies the thread says it has, it's 1 lower than the number of the latest post.

In this thread, even? And I didn't even point any fingers. XD

and i'm not getting sucked further into someone elses OCD< i got my own brain issues.

look at every other thread and see the same thing.

the OP does not count as a reply.

Hmm, that's true....I've never noticed that being the case before, but you're probably right.

in this thread. dozens and dozens of deleted posts. my own.

In the words of someone who has said it before...

Chill.

I'm rarely as serious as you make me out to be.

thank you. i have a headache now.

but that is why there is a difference.

27K is 27K. we started with post 0.

Usually the seriousness is accompanied by a lack of smileys/emotes, and capitalization, italics, and other forms of word-emphasis. XD

I'm sorry you have a headache. I don't mean to be so overly obnoxious that I make everyone's blood-pressure rise.

Must be a skin condition or something.
