Yes, I heard that the other day. The reason they are keeping Kreacher is 'cause he's vital to the plot... JK Rowling has told them who and what can be cut from each film which makes me think that Kreacher has a role in book 7 that is vital for the story's resolution.

 

I would guess they were okay with cutting Dobby because the whole reason he knew about the room was because he was hiding Winky there when she was drunk, and Winky's story didn't really appear in movie #4. I bet Gred and Forge are the ones who show Harry where the room is since they know Hogwarts better than anyone else there.

Oh and the teaser trailer comes to the net on nov 17th.

IMHO the movies became more confusing the deeper in to the series they've gone. First movie and first book are pretty darn similar, but as time went by and the books were longer, the movies have had to cut more... That's actually why I broke down and read the books last Christmas, I realized that though the movie was enjoyable, it just didn't make as much sense as it should have. Because of that I am more excited for the last book than I am for the next movie.

Shhh. I have only fallen asleep in three movies in my life... two of them were potter movies. The third was Major League 2 that my parents took me to after my return from France... I was still jet lagged.

I have fallen asleep in many, many movies. Titanic was one of them back when I was a youngun.

 

I am much more excited about book 7 than I am about movie 5. I just want #5 for Fred and George LOL ...

Titanic!!! It was great the first time through... well except when Kate let Leo fall into the see to save herself. WOMEN!

LOL ... it was the first time thru that I fell asleep (probably due to having been skiing all day... my friends weren't exactly considerate and insisted we had to see it THAT NIGHT... but then, they hadn't been skiing either).

I remember going home and doing research on Kate Winslett because I was sure she was going to have my children one day.
