Aithne paced her tiny room and fretted with the ends of her hair. She held out a hand and frowned as it slighty shook. This is foolishness. No one will show up. Why should I expect anyone else to take part in my revenge scheme?

She had spent weeks planning it on her own. Now was the time to get others involved. Anonymous notes with intstructions had been slipped under doors (including her own). They were to meet today in the library in the hour before dinner. The Novices were to pretend they were studying for an exam, while they really plotted out an intricate prank.

Earlier that week she had written out her plans. She folded the parchment and stuck it to the bottom of the table her note specified they meet at. One of the Novices would have an addendum on her note that further information could be found on the bottom of the table. Aithne added the same to her own note just in case.

She had spent so much time making sure none of this could be pointed back at her. What if no one showed up? What if someone tattled? It was a risk she was willing to take.

Estel needed to be taught a lesson. Aithne was more than willing to be the one to do the teaching.

She just wasn't willing to take the fall just yet...

-----------------------------

She waited long enough to make sure she wouldn't be the first one to arrive. She hesitated outside the door of the library. She took herself a deep breath and entered, her eyes quickly darting to a table at the far end. She grinned in relief as she saw a group of girls already sitting there, and a piece of folded paper being passed around the table.

She quickly made her way to the table and showed her note. "Here for this, too?" A series of nods and giggles followed, and she started to giggle in excitement herself.

OOC: Here we go! Anyone is free to RP being the girl to get the extra instructions on her note. I guess we can use this as introductions. The extra instructions are pretty much what we've lined out at the WT boards.

Finally dismissed from the oppressive heat of the kitchen, Sandry hurriedly stalked down the hall towards the Novice Quarters. As she reached the doorway that led into the Novice Quarters she shoved a stray strand of auburn hair out of her eyes irritably. Light, it wasn’t like she had made the Accepted trip, she had only laughed when the fool of a woman couldn’t seem to manage keeping her balance and yelling at them for no reason at the same time. It hadn’t been anything worth getting so riled up over, but the bloody woman had and now Sandry had sore, chapped hands to prove it. Thank the light no Aes Sedai had caught her out after curfew! Hurrying to her room she hurried in and lit the lamp on the table, it was then that she noticed the note sitting on the floor.

A smile crept to Sandrilene’s lips as she read the note. “More information will be provided there,†interesting. Nodding to herself she hid the note in the bottom of her belt pouch and then undressed to her shift. As she climbed into bed she couldn’t help but feel some excitement over the fun to be had soon.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Sandry had been spending a lot of time in the library lately, it seemed the only thing that could keep her mind of her desire to be outside practicing archery or riding her horse, two things Novices of the Tower didn’t have the freedom to do. For this reason it wasn’t an oddity for the Brown Sisters who ruled over it to see her sitting at a large table seemingly working on some bit of research or another. Mostly to avoid being given some task by a Sister or Accepted if she were caught out and about in the halls Sandry had decided to head to the library at the first available moment, no matter how early she was for the meeting.

When she arrived at the specified table she found that she was the only one there, just as she had expected to be. After gathering a few books and spreading them out to appear as if she were being studious, Sandry reached under the table and felt for the note she knew must be there. For a moment she felt a sensation of panic when she couldn’t find it, what if a Brown had found it and they were all about to get caught, what if the genius behind this whole thing had gotten cold feet, what if? As the fears bubbled through her head she felt her fingers brush a piece of parchment.

Glancing around to be sure no one was watching she quickly drew out the piece of parchment and tucked it in among her other papers. A few minutes later she was able to open and read what was written, and as she did her excitement grew as she struggled to keep from laughing out loud. Now all she had could do was wait for the other girls to arrive. Turning her attention to her books and supposed studies she tried to focus on something besides her building excitement.

Ooc: Ok Sandry's got the parchment safe and sound tucked away in her other notes on the table, so when we are all ready we can get this party started!

OOC: sorry i have not responded yet, i will tommorow!!

This day had been stranger than most, although that didn't really mean much when you were a Novice in the White Tower. There were too many weird things, and more than a few weird people for anything to be truly shocking anymore. But even here Syara usually did not wake up to find notes slipped under her door. It was from one of the other novices she was sure, although it didn't say who. The note talked of a prank, a secret meeting in the library in an hour and demanded absolute secrecy. All of which had kept Syara's head up in the clouds during her lectures today. So much so that she had earnt another kitchen duty tomorrow. But even that couldn't really bother her.

Upon entering her room Syara dumped her book and tried to relax, she had at least an hour to wait.

--------

Unsure what to expect Syara entered the library clutching some paper, quills and ink. Making an attempt to be circumspect she took some books off a nearby shelf before heading for the table indicated in the note. Only one Novice had beaten her here. Sandry Syara had met a few times, mostly when they were assigned to scrub pots together. Sitting down she opened one of the books, incidentally it opened onto a list of Novices removed from the Tower due to rebellious character.

After about five minutes of quiet study Sandry handed her a book. Opening it Syara found a piece of parchment with the same hand as the note. Reading carefully she didn't notice more Novices arrive. By the time she got to the end she was almost crying from the strain of trying not to burst out laughing. Taking a deep breathe she handed the book containing the note to the girl sitting next to her.

The only question Syara had was who had planned the prank? It was clearly one of the Novices, but it could be any of them. Maybe Sandry....after all she had been here first. But no, anyway who took the care to use anonymous notes wouldn't give herself away that easily.

Either way, it was still going to be a lot of fun. As long as she didn't get caught anyway....

IC: arriving to her room at the early hours of the morning. Zeveria stifled a yawn. She was getting back from her turn in the infirmary. She stayed up with the sick and tended to them. It was a special privilege to have this duty as a novice. She was in her 5th year of novice hood and hoped to be raised soon. She was getting some responsibilities that were privileges, like this one. Stepping in with care, she did her best to be quiet so she did not wake her roomy. Looking at the ground she saw an envelope. There was neat writing and straight folds. The person who did this put time into it. Changing into her shift and getting under the blankets, she opened the letter and read. She could not believe what she was reading. Her wonder and mischievous side grew excited. Hiding under the covers she found it hard to stifle a giggle. This was going to be fun. Yawning again she turned over and slipped the letter under her pillow and fell asleep.

Slipping into the library, books and research supplies in hand, Zeveria found the table that she had been directed to. Stopping before she was seen, she looked at the girls already there. There was about three in the group, all chatting quietly and acting as if they were studying. She knew Athine and sandry; she took a class with Sandry. Athine she was already friends with. Going over to the table she sat down and listened to what they were all saying. It was all about these secret notes and the prank. Zeveria was still wonder and very courios about the whole thing. She could not wait for the meeting to start.

OOC: ok i'm ready to get into the fun!!! *waits in anticipation*

OOC: This is more of a 'bump' post than anything. I'm still hoping a few more people who showed interest will show up.

IC: After her initial reaction of relief, Aithne started to feel a small bit of dread. She has secretly hoped for more Novices. She had carefully selected the girls that she felt would be safe choices, but so many of them were absent. What if she chose wrong? What if the Mistress of Novices was being informed of her plans at this exact moment?

Stop worrying. Stop worrying.

Zeveria pushed the book with the note towards her. Aithne only briefly skimmed it for dramatic show. Of course, she already knew what it contained.

She had struggled with whether or not to include her preferred Aes Sedai target in the note. She worried that it would be too much information, and it would make it easier to identify her as the mastermind. But it was Estel Sedai who she wanted to get revenge on. In the end, she included Estel's name on the note. She wasn't known for her kindness, and it was entirely possible that many Novices would revel at the chance to get back at the Blue Sister.

She slid the book to the middle of the table and sighed. "Please let more show up," she thought in silent prayer.

Shanara stopped dead in front of her door. There was a bit of parchment sticking out from under it! She unfolded it and grinned.

Seeing as I need to go to the library anyway, this should be fun, she thought.

When she reached the designeatd table, there were already a few girls there. She smiled at them and handed her note to Aithne, who smiled and nodded back.

Shanara then went and grabbed a few books off the shelves at random and joined the little group.

OOC: I hope you don't mind that Shan decided to show up too!

OOC: It's fine. =) Since this seems to be all that are showing up, I'm going to get us started. :p

IC:

She had waited long enough. No one else was going to show up, but Aithne could not help but be pleased that as many came as they did. She studied the girls around her. Two were quietly discussing the prank, another was doing homework and the rest were looking around the table anxiously.

No one else is going to start it. I guess I will have to.

She pulled the book back to her and opened it to the page that had the note. "I have a class soon, so I guess we need to finish this meeting quickly. Whoever wrote this seemed to plan even the most minute details. All we need to do is decide who will do what."

"I know of an old store room that has lots of old clothing. We could take turns gathering items and hiding them. I'm not sure where we could hide them, but there are a lot of unused Novice rooms. Does anyone know where we might find room decor? I'd hate to steal, but I wonder if anyone could borrow a few things from a Red."

"As for the actual prank itself, I know I could probably easily distract Estel Sedai away from her rooms since she is my mentor." That word sounded so foul in her mouth. Estel was no mentor. "The note says we will need lookouts along with those of you who will being doing the switch. Who is willing to do what?"

Aithne averted her eyes to the note. Light, she was saying too much. Someone was sure to figure out that she was the one who planned it all. She pretended to study the note while waiting for someone else to speak up.

IC: Athine was figiding quite a bit.

'what is wrong with her?' thought Zeveria

look at her friend a sidelong look, she could tell she was distresed about something.

'she must be nervous about this whole prank thing, why did she come then?'

it confused Zeveria, knowing her friend to be at times shy. looking back at her "Customs of the world." textbook, Zeveria did not see the look of determination come over her friends face. movement beside her made Zeveria look up at Athine. Athine was not standing and opening her mouth to speak.

Giving Athine a nod and small smile, Zeveria rasied her hand.

"I'll do some nicking if you like. I'll do some looking around next time i'm sent to the Red halls. we'll talk later about the storeroom, ok Athine?"

waiting for her friends agreement, Zeveria gathered her books and said a quiet goodbye to those who were in attendance.

OOC: sorry no time to proof read. hope this is ok.
