Yeah Rasheta my two favorite parts of RJ's books the warders and the black tower ps Aes Sedai are good too so long as they don't lock you in a box or gentel you lol just kidding you know that I'm trying to get Visar Gaiden to return on my rp post lol he must be busy so i decided to join the warder social side and the black tower rp/ social too lol

Maybe they could be merged?

Yep yep! The Light faction and the Shadow faction. Once you gain enough ability/points to be promoted to Soldier you get to chose which faction you want to join.

I'm a avide martial artist who is also interested in sword play *head outa the gutter* I fell in love with RJ's books and the BT as well as the Warders. My hobbies include reading, teaching and sparing/training. I'm going to be in the AFROTC soon lol I'm a biochem major and work for SIUC school of medicine in Illinois.

Should be avid...sorry bad spelling is a pet peeve. I work in the English department at my college. *laughs* In other news what kind of martial arts? Karate? Kickboxing or something else?

i'd be too scared to correct a blade dancer's typing...

Its okay Rasheta thats why my PI is so hard on my papers I have bad grammar lol. I do Tae Kwon Do, Harpikido, Krav Maga and work with a few sword style/types I currently hold a red belt(probationary black) in TKD and there are no belts in my other two martial arts.

they tried to teach me krav maga in high school, but i just passive resisted it. i think you have to be born with that kind thing.

My kids did TKD until we moved. The older one made it to his black belt, he was also a helper at the center working towards getting certified. The younger stopped at red belt. He wasn't really that into it, just wanted to tag along.

my little brother did that when he was a kid, but i could still always pick him up by his ankles.

That's freaking awesome Sword, I too have a love for martial arts and swordplay. I practiced Judo for a long time, reached 3rd dan before I kinda petered out somewhat, and also studied a little bit of Jeet Kune Do and a little bit of Wushu. I've always been interested in Krav Maga though, it's amazing in it's ability to take on many opponents at once.

 

What kind of swordfighting techniques/styles do you prefer?

PI??? Private investigator? Its okay I have a friend whose dyslexic, more so then me amazingly enough, and I ignore his bad grammar, or try too. Sometimes I correct him but its only out of habit. Which is what happened here, it was just habit. *laughs*

It stands for Principle Investigator, Our TKD class takes longer to promote because its more traditional I've been doing it for seven years. . . And yes Krav Maga is very cool and good for multiple opponents it takes a lot of practice but there has to be some in born talent as well And there is a sword fighting techinique that is similar to the warders Ren'Shai that I do its highly practical and very efficent. I also do muyejebo style Korean swordsmanship.

You don't have video or something of you doing your sword work do you? Visar had to get video because I wouldn't leave him alone till he did. *laughs*

 

Do you think you could figure out how to do the various swordforms from the books?
