I used to work for this gynecologist and one day I told him that I finally understood why all of his kids were adopted. He looked at me funny, so I told him that my husband is a carpenter and the last thing my husband wants to do after working on houses all day is come home and work on our house. He still didn't understand...

Wealthy yes, five adopted children though. There wasn't any medical necessity for that according to his wife.

Women...never marry a gynecologist!

Like only getting pets from the pound? from Rhea's perspective it didn't seem like wife was happy about it.( not trying to put words in anyone's mouth. just my opinion)

she did! i haven't seen them in years but I understand they are no longer together. i can't imagine why...

i have a friend who's husband is a mechanic and their cars are all run down. same as a friend of mine who's husband is a computer tech...she can't get him to fix her computer.

my mom married a mechanic, and her cars are doing very well. and though i do not want to hear of it... at 73 and 64, they... well. they're very happy together and i wish they'd stop telling me why.

I'm sure there are a lot of tainty reasons for their happy marriage Cindy. LOL

i just love funny life situations though.

Turin...you were going to be a gynecologist?

No. It was just the Taint talking. I remember seeing an add for a new show. The lady was trying to reconnect with old boyfriends. She went to see one that was a gynecologist. He didn't remember her until he was examining her. Then it was oh, now I remember!

Her look of mortification is classic. :myrddraal:

If I would have had the patience to study and become a doctor it would have been ortho or pediatrics. No way though.

sometimes I think I would have been better off being a computer nerd. As much time as I spend on them it wouldn't be hard!
