i wonder if there might not be a better alternative... but i know little of these things.

My father once said something about sharing the screen for better quality. But that doesn't help if Skype itself fails.

we were trying to think of some, but Skype worked just fine for us last time....

Maybe. But I don't think he will, when he has lots more work to do.

wonder how it'd work if we have it playing on a computer... just a minute... in two weeks.... I'l probably be able to be the one to transmit LotR by the time we're ready for The Two Towers at least. Go home at (American) Thanksgiving

jiminy, it's almost time to start dealing with turkeys... that really slipped my mind.

 

i'm thinking brining and smoking it in the kattle bbq with sage this year. that worked out really well last time i did it.

it was. a nice medium smokeabout 6 hours, with beer under it, and all the woody sage from the summer. really good wood charcoal.

 

i might need to build a fire now. if anything's dry enough to burn.

all of this rain has not been fun. We still managed a bonfire last night though :)

it's usually posible to keep a good fire going no matter how wet things are if you can get it hot enough... just not sure there's even any tinder to start with. and it's probably best not to burn things just cause i'm in a mood.
