I've always been a hardcore Bangel shipper since I was a pup. Their storyline is, imo, the most heartbreaking love story ever. I still cry every time I watch intense episodes with those two.

 

 

 

Though I do love Spike. I love the storyline when Bffy comes back and can't deal, so she sleeps with spike *le sigh* She just can't do love right.

 

 

 

I loved the movie interview with the vampire, and the book series.

I always loved the whole tragedy with the Buffy and Angel relationship. They loved each other so much, but it could never ever happen for them. I never really rooted for Spike. I knew Buffy could never love him like she loved Angel and they could never be together, she already tried the whole vamp thing. Though I did love the episode in the abandoned house. I did like him better when he was evil though.

he was so joyously evil. loved him in torchwood too.

i don't know that buffy could really ever love anyone. she was doomed and knew it, and twisted, broken, as much as spike in her way.

 

and angel... just too broody for me on that show. improved immensely on angel, and love him to death on bones. but on buffy... there was no there there for me.

 

emjoyed him evil. and the whole impossibility of the situation kept the will they won't they tension so necesary to the show going way beyond it normally would have.

 

but i'd have picked spike. he loved her. and as evl as he was, that was a hell of an accomplishment.

 

plus, funny. and cool dresser.

Funny side note on Buffy. The movie was total camp and the series was serious with humor.
