i guess having seen computers go from taking up a whole floor in an office building to being the size of a wee little microchip uner my kittie's skin has made me just expect them to keep going the same way.

but... fifty. currently in our computers we have dual and quad cores. its quite a jump from 4 to 50. and mind is boggled.

go back in time 40 years and know what mind boggling is. 4, 50, a googleplex. just a matter of degree.

When my husband was an electrical engineer back in 2000, there was talk that having so many components crammed so close to one another like that caused a sort of quantum interference that would make something like that impossible. :D

just goes to show you. I wonder what other 'impossible' things we'lll be doing a decade from now?

 

scary thought. A decade from now i'll be grown up and probly settled somewhere.

Because I wasn't here.

Everyone was soo amazed about the development that our spamming fingers were in shock.

 

Just think how much faster our spam could be if everything moved 10 to 100 times faster.

lol. That would mean something like 15 000 posts in an hour in the 100 000 post thread if you're with three or four people.

And I see I almost have 8 000 posts...

You didn't go on LoA for two full weeks. That means I've made 2 800 posts less. I would've been past 10 000 otherwise. And you don't use a colour either...

if it was necessary to go through extra motions to make it black i might. but it strikes me as silly to go through extra motions to type words. if i want to see colors i can look at the the TV.
