Everytime I go to our offsite boards I get this!

So do i. That i do believe is a layout issue... i thinks... LoL! It could be a server issue.. but with the glitch in Telcia's profile, i'd say layout.. :P

No..... it's a server issue the mysql database user has too many open connections at one time. It's a very small limit and it causes the site to go down.

 

If it's not fixed yet or it shows up again, Russ/Robin it's best to go into the database user and assign a new one to the forum message boards. You can do that right away when a "connections" error crops up and it should right the problem. It does not fix the reason why it happens, but it resets it so it'll take longer for it to happen again.

 

Telcia's problem was a problem with subSilver Theme, it needs to be reinstalled to fix it.

it simply wont work for me. It's still giving me:

And a lot more stuff. I can open the main site, but whenever I go to the forums, this error appears.

it's the same issue as before. Something/someone is loading down the database server user and killing all the connections you are alloted at time, you have to be patient it will come back up but you can't check every five mins.

Yeah.. got it too, before i saw this thread.. looks like it's out temporary.. ;)

The site is back online. Changed something more than last time, I hope it will stay online a little longer now.
