I remember we used to have a few whisky devotees here. Has anyone tried Lagavulin 16? It's gorgeous stuff.

I like a good whiskey BBQ sauce, but I don't really care for whiskey as a drink. I'm much more of a rum fan.

It sounds lovely, but my budget doesn't run that high. My Jameson is about half that price, I'm afraid.

You buy some expensive Jameson! I've been considering buying a bottle of Lagavulin, only to find that it's $30 cheaper if I ship it halfway around the world, from the UK, and $100 cheaper if I buy two bottles. Nuts.

Well, I'm only going by the price I saw online for the Lagavulin. I haven't actually priced it. It's way out of my league.

I have a bottle of Johnny Walker black :) not overly swish, but lovely just the same :)

I quit drinking mostly, I'll have a long island every so often but just thinking about drinking makes me queasy and the smell makes me nauscious on the verge of throwing up I'm a terrible irish person.
