I started working on a bio for a male chaneler any ideas anyone. I think i want him to be from tear i thought maybe a former noble whose house lost its status because one of its former high seats was found out to be able to chanel the male half of the source

Sounds pretty feasible to me. With a Tairen from that kind of background you could have some interesting personal dilemmas… hatred of the Tairen Lords of the Land for the loss of face for House and so on? Or shame about own House for having sired a channeler (as, most people in Tear as about as anti channeling as I am anti-getting poked in the eye with a sharp stick. Twice.) Either way, Jarron al’Tanin has ‘conquered’ Tear, the Stone has fallen, etc, and unlike in the books the Black Tower were there for that fight already, so seeking amnesty etc, etc would be quite feasible. Perhaps hearing rumours of the Dragon being able to channel would have drawn your House out of hiding and perhaps be seeking some kind of reinstatement again… who knows!

Yea i have the bt history page pulled up and a tairen con pulled up to help with the bio. I finished a rough draft last night plan on extending to what i have, im thinking of his father had the ability in born and was able to hold it off for three years before the high lords found out. When they found out they killed his mother and father because the high lords thought they were being used the entire time by the power, forcing character to flee tear to andor and go into hiding, but my character himself wont have power inborn just ability to learn.

(this is the first and quickest one i thought up just been adding and taking from it.)

Crowly was born into the former Tairen noble house of al'nareth, now formally called the disgraced nareths. Crowly's house once housed his father the high lord vandale al'nareth and his mother Sara al'nareth. When crowly was 12 years old his father would start to get random sickness' that would sometimes last days or sometimes would only last a few hours, 3 years later howerever would turn the al'nareth house into an utter disgrace for the other high lords of tear learned that vandale's secret to his sickness was that he could chanel saidin and was just barely fighting off his own madness. Enraged by the thought of being used by the one power, the high lords united their strength together and took control of house al'nareth. while the highlords captured and began torturing vandale while waiting to capture sara to hang them together, she was gathering what supplies and little gold she scrapped together and shoved crowly through a back door in the house telling him to flee tear and never return until or unless the stone has fallen to the dragon reborn. Then their line shall return to tear to serve the dragon.While fleeing tear crowly came upon an illainer ship merchant who offered to give him passage as far as white bridge, during the voyage the captain managed day by day to fuel crowly's hatred of the high lords. Upon reaching white bridge crowly began to ask about out lying villages of andor somewhere were he could go to live out his days, learning of a few small villages out near bearlong he began to make his way down to the villages.Camping outside the village crowly had decided to go hunting before dark fell it would be another day befot he reached the village, while hunting in the forest he managed to stumble upon a bear that went into a rage when seeing him. before bear got to him he managed to shoot out a eye with his bow the bear bellowed in pain and slashed him withs its claws across the chest knocking him out and bleeding to death while bear fled. two weeks later crowly awoke in the house of a village wisdom whom had been watching over him day and night with worry.4 years of living in the village found him married to the wisdom and opening his own inn, but a sad winter a few years later would claim his beloved wife and and began to make him wallow in his sarrow.Then word finally reached the village from bearlong "the stone of tear has fallen the dragon holds the stone." Bitterly crowly laughed at the news, so the slime of tear had finally been forced to bend knee to him but he would never return to tear as a lord again, but maybe there was another way to fufil his families wishes to serve the dragon and with the knowledge of either returning to a disgraced house or taking up the dragons amnesty he began to weep.The next morning he packed what few belongings he cared to take and burned his past to the ground once more and set off on the road that would lead him to asha'man and his debt.
