I was thinking of Joining but can't find a template, is it hiding somewhere or is it free writing?

Hey, Yriel, I'm the guy who's supposedly in charge of this little slice of DM. Glad to see that you're interested.

Okay, now in order to get posting you need to read and agree to the Code of Conduct on the Welcome Inn board.

Don't worry about it. This is actually one of the more seamless transitions.

 

As soon as the bio is CC'ed, I'll assign you a Weapons Score. From there, you need to do an intro post. Right now, the Band is on the march on the West board, so that's where your arrival RP will be. I can come meet you with a character, or one of the other Banders can come pick you up. (Hint to the other Banders: this would count towards your required RPs for promotion.) After that, well... The Band is currently in a major RP on the West Board that is looking for a few more RPers to play infiltrator servants. We're kidnapping the Daughter of the Nine Moons and changing the commander of the Band.

cool, I'd be happy to be one of the infiltrators, especially seeing as my character spent his first 18 years as a servant. How would i set up the meet up?

Basically, you come prancing up the road, whistling like you don't have a care in the world, and you're ambushed by a bunch of scouts in uniform. Somebody else, possibly with the scout party, possibly with the main body, will come along, and you'll do a short RP back and forth with the person, culminating in you signing your life away. The other two active Banders right now are Arinth and The Bard Babe. Feel free to contact them, or I can write with you. I recommend writing with them, though, as they'll be the main part of your RP experience, and it'll be good to get to know them.

Im game. Maybe I can be the one to talk him into joining the infantry. How well can Yriel drink?

You should be given permission within the next day or two. There's usually a little bit of turn-around time on that front.

Howdy, I was looking into getting involved with the RP. The Template helped out. Unfortunatly, I didn't see where exactly to send it. So I sent it to the email listed on the wiki, botrhdiv@gmail.com, and to the apparent head of this shindig, Quibby? Coming in as Cavalry if the bio gets approved and would enjoy any help I could get kicking things into gear.

Thanks! I'm glad I found the site. Yeah, Quibby helped out in getting everything set up. Now bio an backstory is just pending CC and I can get running on this. I might have high hopes but I'm hoping I can get the BotRH going in some interesting directions once I get established in the game. Might take time but I hope to at least get a few RP's going just with my IC training.
