More important, methinks, is what lunch? :wink:

 

Well, with the help of Jenn (Kathana), I arranged to have a special lunch with Kate (Blue Aes Sedai lady) at Harriet's house.

Yes, Harriet's house. We met up with Harriet, Maria, and Alan. They were gracious enough to give us a tour of the house, show us Senor Rigney's office where he did pretty much all of his work, and every edition of Wheel of Time in every language (which was a sight to see!). And the garden, which was beautiful.

 

So, pretty awesome planning, if I say so myself.

 

But it wasn't just lunch, as awesomely cool as I am that was.

 

I also proposed to Kate. :biggrin:

 

She said yes.

 

I think it all came together well.

 

 

 

Yea, lunch and a proposal. Awesome. :cool:

 

 

That's all. Just wanted to inform you. hehe

    After a wonderful surprise lunch with Harriet, Maria, and Alan (members of Team Jordan), we were touring the gardens of the property when Ed decided he was going to ask. So he got down on one knee and the conversation went kinda like this:

     

    Ed: Katelyn...this is kinda crazy but I -

    Me: No... stop.

    Ed: What?

    Me: No, no...keep going.

    Ed: I love you and I -

    Me: Agh...stop.

    Ed: What?

    Me: No, no...keep going.

    Ed: Will you marry me?

    Me: :nodlaugh:

    Ed: Is that a yes?

    Me: I didn't misunderstand the question - yes.

    Ishy...that is a bit creeper status. Though, I don't feel quite not-so-creeper because of getting in contact to ask to have lunch with her. O_O

     

     

    Moon...I'm not gonna lie, I am pretty proud of both. :laugh: It was like....WoT nerd perfect proposal, in my mind. I THINK Kate liked it. :wink:
