And I def see your point, and personally I HATE that Lebron, Wade, and Bosh all colluded to determine where they would end up playing together. To me, this is completely unfair and undermines the chances of all other small market teams out there to secure good chances of winning their own championships. It's a slap in the face to 29/30 of all the fans out there.

Buuuuut, they still played the playoffs and everything, and the outcome was determined in a fairly well regulated contest. The Heat were simply a better team, and Lebron played out of his mind throughout the playoffs. I don't like the guy, but his play merited a championship

I'm actually kind of surprised you couldn't find one like that, I have plenty of posts with just one smiley!

I like to mix it up to contrast all my wordiness

Did you see the horrible officiating? That won the Heat 1-2 games outright in the Celtic series alone, and 1 game against the Thunder.

All I can give them is that they all have talent. I will never believe that they merited a championship. I'll just state that everyone can have their own opinions.

I really can't believe that I'm arguing on the side of the Heat here.

You're right, screw the Heat, and melt their rings and turn 'em into a giant effigy of Stern that we can then hurl into the fiery depths of Mordor, only then allowing us to dispell the evil wizard's powers

LOL! Nice

However, we can turn this convo back to the Lakers. Don't you think it's nice at least to have another juggernaut in the NBA that can roll with these Heat clowns?

  • Author

No, cause I want MAH SPURS to be the ONLY juggernaut in the NBA!

And if Kawhi Leonard makes "the jump" this year to semi-superstar, we just may become that

Your old man Spurs need some new blood. I was pulling for them against the Thunder because I thought they had a better chance to beat the Heat.

2 TEAM NBA TRADE BETWEEN GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS AND MILWAUKEE BUCKS

2 TEAM NBA TRADE BETWEEN PHILADELPHIA 76ERS AND MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES

NO TRADE: DWIGHT HOWARD STAYED IN ORLANDO MAGIC

2 TEAM NBA TRADE BETWEEN LA LAKERS AND CLEVELAND CAVALIERS

2 TEAM NBA TRADE BETWEEN HOUSTON ROCKETS AND LA LAKERS

3 TEAM NBA TRADE BETWEEN WASHINGTON WIZARDS, LA CLIPPERS AND DENVER NUGGETS

2 TEAM NBA TRADE BETWEEN GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS AND SAN ANTONIO SPURS

2 TEAM NBA TRADE BETWEEN NEW JERSEY NETS AND PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS

2 TEAM NBA TRADE BETWEEN PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS AND HOUSTON ROCKETS

  • Portland Trail Blazers get Hasheem Thabeet and Jonny Flynn
  • Houston Rockets get Marcus Camby

D. Rose could potentially miss the entire 2012 - 2013 season so there go the Bulls chances.. I think we're looking at a OKC/Spurs v Lakers and Boston v Heat for the conference finals.

I was really thinking Houston might try to trade for D12 and rent him for a year, too bad that didn't happen.

I think the only chance the Spurs have of making it deep in the playoffs this year is if Kawhi makes a true jump to semi-superstar, which I can honestly see happening. The kid has talent, and a Lebron type frame

How about the Nets? They gonna catch your fancy at all?

I'm kinda interested to see how Sota does with (hopefully) a full year of Rubio
