OK so I have been sucked into getting dressed in a costume and going out in public!!! shakes head

 

Has anyone else attended costume parties in costume?? Got piccys?? post them here!!! and what was the party for??

Cool. I love costume parties but haven´t been to one for many years. I think the last one was when I turned 30. Can´t show any pics though because back in the old days we had old fashion non digital cameras.

I have been Princess Leia, a medieval tavern wench, an 18c pride and predujice type girl, a geisha, a nun, and Rocky Horror twice

The last time I was in costume for anything was a '60s theme party in St. Louis for a gathering of internet friends. Those of you who have me on FB, my avatar is from this event. I'm going back there next month for the 8th edition of the same event, but this time it isn't a costume affair.

my mother dressed me up as the devil for my fifth birthday party. red satin skirt, leotard, tights, wee horns, long forked tail, the whole bit. even little red mary janes...

 

I have not willingly attended any party since that day. scarred for life.

Nicely done Roo. The last party I attended in costume was a Halloween party several years ago. I was Austin Powers. It was the year Goldmember came out in theatres. No pics tho. (i managed to find them all)

I was a snowman a couple of years back ... It was different to say the least.

once i hit FB i will post some pics we had pirates both male and female a classic BeaTle Braveheart Wonder Woman Bat girl 2 kinda of cat woman but the best of them all was the GHOSTBUSTER!!!!!!!!!!!! he was awesome!!

Actors like Costume parties. our halloween party at school was always the best! This year we had a captain hook and Peter Pan, a One Night Stand (he was hilarious). I think some Care Bears?

Great pics. Need to think about what I have been dressed as... Last time I was Queen Kristina. Before that I have been a ghost, a demon, an angel, a stone age girl, Pippi Longstocking... If I add the times I have been role playing then also an oracle, an alien, a troll, Grandma Duck, another demon, a doctor...
