What happened to the sword that Aviendha gave Rand? There is no mention of it after his first meeting with the Seanchan that I can recall.

 

It's strange that he would stop using it after it meant so much to him - in Far Madding he didn't want to cut the peace bonds because it would mean leaving it behind.

He got Justice as a gift, and took to it, I guess. I don't recall anything happening to Laman's sword, other than that, but perhaps I'm forgetting something.

I don't recall the sword being mentioned that much after Aviendha gave it to him and he had the hilt redone.

It was found in a pond somewhere and brought to him as a gift. He recognized it because of his meeting with Hawkwing in TGH, though.

It has been confirmed that it is justice. That is why Rand recognized it because he saw it on Hawkwing at Falme.

Its not really mentioned because after his first meeting with the "Daughter of The Nine Moons." He states that he would have to relearn how to use a sword with one hand, and this isnt really something that would advance the plot line. We might as well assume he has given up on the sword except for ornamentally

No, he still had it as late as KoD. It just disapeared in tGS when Brandon wrote in Justice as his cameo (like the jolly man ter'angreal library was Jordan's)
