That Ravens game was ugly as sin. They may have been gifted a first down on the 4th and 29.

 

More importantly, the Browns caused 8 turnovers and beat the Yinzers today! Hooray!

Week 12 Results

 

It was a strange week in Dragonmount's TV Show & Sports discussion NFL Pick'em, as everyone who picked got five points, but how they got there was very entertaining. WWWwombat and SamVimes had it the easiest, as the 49ers won in relatively easy fashion. Ishy, Hax, Boyo, TGlems, and myself barely squeaked out 5 points with Baltimore's OT miracle victory in San Diego. SinisterDeath may have been the luckiest, though, leveraging Sammy into putting the Bears on the board and avoiding the Packers embarrassment in New York.

Pick the Philadelphia Eagles to get out of their tailspin against the Dallas Cowboys for 10 points.

I have 13 points after coming into the game late.  Might as well throw a hail mary this week, right?

Panthers.

I like what I am seeing in New York, Eli, JPP, and the Giants on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles are terrible, but I want to go for a hail mary.

I really need 10 points....

And going over the wins/losses, and doing what i've been doing with every game, only comparing the games that each team has played  against as a measureable quantification of which team is better.. They both come about.. nearly even, with Dallas with the slight lead.

 

What do I mean by slight lead?

They both have the same win/loss ratio on the games the teams they've each played.  Though, not every team one won, did the other... Some they lost.

 

Example, They both beat the Giants. But Dallas has won one game against them, and lost one.Though, Dallas won the first time, with more points than the Eagles did. This either means a strong Offense, or a strong Defense.. Or both.

 

Yet, Dallas lost to the Ravens  but by only 2 points!

yet, the Eagles only won against the ravens by 1 point!

Way to close to call this one on.

They both lost to the Falcons.

Eagles lost.. by...13 points, where as Dallas lost by 6 points. Thats telling...

 

Same with the Redskins game.shows Dallas losing by 7 points, wherea s the Eagles lost by a whopping 25 points.

To me, this is a very veyr close call, with the lead being towards Dallas. If this were a 5 pointer, I'd choose Dallas. That would be the safe bet!

 

And while I didn't mention that the Eagles already played Dallas  once before, and lost by 15 points, I don't belive that makes their chances worse. That defeat, should be in their recent memories. And hopefully they'll want to push a little more to beat the  team that stomped them. With a little luck on the eagles side, dallas being to over-confident in themselves stomping the eagles. I think they stand a very good chance, of having a very, very close game. 1-3 points, that could quite littearlly, go either way depending on.. well, luck.

I do approve of the picks offered by Balefire.

 

That Hail Mary is indeed tempting..... but risky since as bad as I think Dallas is, Philly would need a really good showing to pull things off.

 

I'll go with the Panthers. Cam should light up the KC defense.

By the way, if you didn't know, a LB for the Chiefs killed his girlfriend and killed himself at the Chiefs facility today.

Week 13 Results

 

Mr. Soy Boyo, SamVimes, and Ishy all got burned by an inspired KC Chiefs team as the Panthers fell. Likewise, SinisterDeath, Hax, and TGI all took the risk of the Hail Mary and the Eagles almost paid off, but no. Finally, Balefired-ed2 also got burned by a great peformance from RG3 to pull out a 1 opint win over the Giants.

 

So we all lose. The standings remain the same.
