Oh, and the live and die thing was a reference to him not being in that other world so he is "dead" there but he lives in his own. Man, Terry Goodkind is going to sue.

lol

I will change the title and the OP.

From now - both spoilers from the Prologue and Chapter 1 will be allowed.

Darthe is a secret beta reader!

*uses mind-reading weave*

Rand uses the Taint to burn out the Dark one, but gets sucked into the void and has to take his place!!

I don´t know what to say about Chapter 1. It´s great to see Rand and Perrin together again. Wish Mat had been there too. It was good to read about Egwene. She seems to be thinking more clearly now. I think she will do great things in the end.

I wanted to read more about what Rand felt when he learned about the babies and Aviendha being back.

I missed a lot of people that I hope will show up in the beginning - Moiranine of course and also Loial. I want to read the book now!!!

Me too.

What did you think about the BT scene? I thought it was hilarious. Okay, again, you are not allowed to bond someone against their will but I couldn´t help laughing. Pevara got shocked that Androl wouldn´t let go of the circle and just happened to bond him. And in surprise he just bonded her as well. lol I think we will get some good scenes of them working together later on. I´m so happy that there are some likeable red sisters.

The scene ended with some serious news though. I got chills reading about the turned asha´mans. I just can´t believe that they have turned Logain as well. Give me the book now!

I have never listened to the books before and, as I guessed, a lot of names is pronounced different from how I have pronounced them. I had planned on listening to at least one but I don´t think I will have the patience, it goes so slowly.

Logain where are you?!

We need your help!

You rang?

I couldn't resist the opportunity to get Chapter 2, but dang. I've never done audiobooks before, and that was hard to put up with. Way slow, hard to stay focused, kept feeling like I was drifting away and had to snap my attention back so I didn't miss anything...

But as for the story, I thought the Pevara/Androl scene was entertaining. I loved the fact that he bonded her in retaliation - thought it was a bit inconsistent though that he said he'd learned it from watching some of the others bond their wives, but he didn't do it the same way as Logain did when he bonded Toveine and Gabrelle.

I have a hard time believing that Logain has been turned. I guess we'll see. If that's the case, I'm guessing someone will find a way to counteract that.

Can someone give me a short headsup to all we now know?

I don't really want to spend money on a Prologue when they'll release the book soon, or try to be able to listen to a chapter when I can just ask it, then read the summary while listening music.

Caemlyn has fallen to an attack that came thru the waygate. The dragons got out thanks to some awesome actions from talmanes. He is hovering on brink of death after taking a few cuts from myrrdraal blades. Only reason not already dead is Nyn healing.

Everyone seems mote reasonable at FoM.

Taim made chosen. New name M'Hael. Graendal in bad with shadow.

Blank in blight is town where red veils, who are 13x13 aiel channelers live. Slayer grew up there. He is now assigned to kill Rand and is not to deviate from that mission.

Pevara and Androl are double bonded and appear to have some extra ability because of it.

All I got right now...

Moridin is not happy about her. Wonder why..? I do hope she will return to her former glory. She should be Nae´blis at least for a while before she dies.

ive never liked her, i think ishmael was probably my favorite and maybe mordin and demandered of course

Moridin and Graendal are my favourite Chosen. Ishmael was mostly over confident and annoying. I can´t say I care much about Demandred but of course I want to know what he has been up to like everyone else.

he was fairly annoying in the first 2-3 books but the battle over falme was one of my favorites in the series (its second only to dumai wells and that by a small margin)

Dumai Wells is certainly not one of my favorites...

My favorite battle, I think, would be Rand on the Dragonmount. If that doesn't count, it's the Battle for Maradon, and then mostly the part after Rand appears (though before isn't bad either).
