Quick recap:

Rosheen challenged Borac to a duel / fist fight, Borac accepted.

The fight started, and it turned out that Rosheen was nowhere near a match for Borac.

Vasya stood by and smirked.

Now (4 posts into the rp) Borac moved in for the smack-down

And that’s all the summary you’re going to get :p

Circling his opponent Borac gave her a nod of approval. Rosheen had learned well and would be a match for almost anyone in the yard. Her technique showed she had spent hours in practice and had honed her skills. It was a shame that she had chosen him to challenge, her skill earned his respect but he was not going to go easy on her because of it.

Casting a quick glance at the Tower Guard, Vaysa, he believed the man’s name was who stood to the side mocking his opponent. Borac briefly considered letting the man have a try at Rosheens skill doubtful he would even last a few minuets. Rosheen used that moment to strike and if not for Borac’s skill she would have hit home. Duckiing his head at the last moment the weapons master narrowly missed a well thrown punch.

Twisting his body he used his legs to trip up Rosheen and send her sprawling to the ground. Rising his opponent tried to go on the offensive but Borac was in rhythm now twisting and moving as he blows landed to her stomach, arms and sides. Grunting in pain Rosheen doubled over. Springing behind her Borac rained blows on her kidney’s and back knowing the end was at hand.

There was always a moment in a fight in which you could almost feel the balance of it tip your way. It was when Borac’s attention faded from her for just a second that Rosheen could feel them tip over to her side. She acted instantly, leaping forward and aiming a blow at his head that would knock him out for sure. The time for half measures was done, if she wanted to win this match she had to do so now. It had been an almost certain hit. Her chance of failing had diminished to a bare minimum, for about two seconds.

That was when she felt the scales tip again, only this time luck ran away from her like a shy novice from a frisky Tower Guard. Because of her own momentum, Borac’s next move wasn’t just easy, it was obvious. Rosheen would have applauded him for it if she hadn’t been too busy not landing face first in the dirt. She could hear Vasya laughing somewhere to the right of her. That smug bastard.

Thoughts of Vasya soon fled though. Her last attempt to save the battle was lost in a haze of quick punches from Borac. Though Rosheen knew how to take a beating, and wasn’t a particularly sensitive girl, she could see where this fight was heading now. The Master at Arms would stop until she called for the fight to stop, or passed out. She decided to pick the first option. There was no shame in admitting you weren’t quite good enough… right?

“Enough.” She shouted, leaping out of Borac’s reach. She raised her hands, palms outwards. “Enough.” She breathed, before doubling over and breathing harshly for a moment. It was probably best to meet up with a Yellow sister before long. It felt as though she’d bruised at least a couple of ribs, and how was she ever going to smack Vasya around when her ribs hurt like they did. “Good fight.” She said, straightening a bit before bowing to Borac. “Humbling, but good.”
