Anyway I wanted to ask when the tournament will start because I will be leaving tomorrow to go to a festival and I will be back on monday.. so if the Soldier battles start then then I can still participate, but if they start this weekend then I'm afraid I have to step down

Matty is playing. Attack Leaders are being dumped into the Staff Pool - from what I can see in the OP.

.......... the staff pool definitely doesn't need me but I'll think about it :)

It's an executive pool. It's got a jacuzzi and sauna/steam room.

Don't forget the cocktail waiters...free massages before and after fights, and also a chocolate fountain. 

And the all you can eat multi-national cuisine buffet

I'm really not a fighter and my stats don't appear to be in range with anyone else's... again, I will if needed but it seems I'm too weak for the group except where I'm too strong.

Is cos you using the 'create link' button. You don't need to do that anymore. Just copy the page address at the top and paste it straight in. DM does the rest.

I didn't use any buttons other than ctrl, c, and v.  Maybe it's something with this computer.  It uses IE8 (eww) and I haven't used it in a while.
