Have you ever wanted to play a position of power? Something beyond your average character, with influence, skills beyond comparison and legendary fame?

 

We at Shayol Ghul Division, bring you the chance to play Sammael, Chosen, General and most of all the Destroyer of Hope.

 

Who was he?

 

In the Age of Legends there arose a man by the name Tel Janin Aellinsar, a man famed for his talent as a sportsman. He was allies with Lews Therin, and due to his brilliance in war and tactics, he soon became one of the greatest generals under Lews Therin. Fame turned into glory, which furthermore promised to turn into power. However, there is such a thing as too much power. Quickly though he rose through the ranks, Tel Janin found himself subject to jealousy towards the Dragon. He believed himself to be better than Lews Therin as a general and resented the fact that it was the other in command. It was due to this jealousy that grew inside him, that he joint the Dark side, taking on the name Sammael, or better yet, The Destroyer of Hope.

 

And just what’s so great about Sammael?

 

-Sammael is a natural strategist. His understanding of warfare makes him a huge asset to any side.

-Sammael rose to be the best bladesmaster in the world

-He is a leader to the core, and ensures that his armies are well cared for.

-Being from the Age of Legends, not only does he have the strength and skill of channellers back then, but also the knowledge of that age.

aditional info is that Sammaels seat is curently Shienar and there is some RPs already where he will be involved in the planing...

Are you the one who fluttered around in pink tutus? :P Cause it made it bloody hard to write about Sammael the Destroyer of Hope. :P

How do you think I destroyed hope.... a Chosen wearing a pink tutu really deals a blow to people.

 

Plus it was soft... and frilly... and I could wear tights with it.

I was considering making something along those lines the title actually. :D

All I can say to that is, you should. :D

*s* go ahead and be welcome and yet no as its still early and we just put this up and peoples generaly take a lil time on writing these up so i expect to not have anything in till closer to the 20th more or less

I can say from (short) experience that playing a Chosen is a great challenge but a lot of fun!

 

Not going to apply myself as I do not fit the first requirement, to have enough time to invest in the character and SG. :( But if you are, show yourself and apply I say! :)

I just do not know if I will RP that often is all. Being active in the community is one thing....

the Chosen at SG Div does a job for SG Div in playing the NSW *s*

I understand what this is for. If I applied, I would RP at least once a week, if not more, just am not sure I want to RP again yet.

*NSW(Non Specific Writer) This refers to those characters/positions where continuity is required. As an example i would use the Sitters in the WT, the Queen of Manetheren, the MAA of the Warders. This position will require a bio, that is approved by the incarns and there is no time limit on how long this character can rp.

 

 

oh and anyone who see this can aply as said...new or old to dm...and if you are unsure try and aply...if you should come out as the one asked and dont want to then a simple no will make us move to the next candidate in line...

It's basically a character that doesn't belong to you, it belongs to the Division. If you stop playing the character, you don't get to kill it - the Division can reassign the character to another player. Not an unreasonable concept where it applies to the Forsaken I believe. :P
