For those who may be interested but don't know, we have what we call the State of Origin, where the best of Queensland and New South Wales play Rugby League in a 3 match contest. (For the competition, but it also was used to help select the national team)

 

Queensland tonight have won an unprecedented 8 series in a row, the final score 12-10.

For any who want to discuss the match or find out what the hell I'm talking about. 

Game 3 gifted by a streaker.

It did more damage to us. We would have scored anyway. 

 

NSW bungled their chances, and in the end the score is the important thing  

 

To be fair though, it was the closest series in a while. NSW were excellent. 

Nah you would've been held out instead of getting another set.

 

Reasonable game though, congratulations.

 

I might eat my words here yet as I think about it but reasonable refereeing too for the first game since 2006 or 7.  And the fact it was Shane Hayne is even more remarkable.

It certainly ruined things, disgraceful. 

 

I agree about the refereeing. There are always mistakes, but at least there was a minimum in this series. 

 

Next year though, I think NSW will win. Our team is too old now. NSW has a good side. 

That's more or less what a QLD fan was saying before I came home from the pub earlier tonight.  NSW's problem is they keep changing the team instead of sticking with the same players.

Yeah. 

 

They don't lose because they are bad, they have a great team, it's just QLD has an incredible line-up.
