Well, I'm off to go walk/jog for 20 minutes. I've only hit my goal three times (once if you don't count the days when I had work and driving my truck with no shocks fooled the wrist band), and today looks like another miss, but I can at least get closer! (It is really hard to make my goal when I have 4 hours of classroom time... 6 on mondays.)

Edit: After my workout, I jumped from 2200 to 2903 points... I think I can get 97 more before I go to bed in a bit!

I still REALLY want the fitbit flex but....we've got bills to pay first :-/  Still, I think that thing would be aweomse - and so much better than my cheap pedometer!

Oh and speaking of fitness stuffs, I have been doing great at getting workouts in, but my diet is still terrible (I guess I have too much of a sweet tooth?)

arrgh, tried the hotels 'fitness suite' the other day...

The bloody treadmill keeps stopping dead every few minutes with no warning, it's bad enough when walking for a warm-up, it almost sent me flying when I started running.  So my current plan is to try and get up at 5, so I can go out for a proper run before the sun gets to hot!  So far no luck on waking up early, but it will happen.

I will try another session on the bikes, but I need to try and get in there alone, so I can reduce the temp from 30 (who works out in 30? honestly) to something manageable.

Maybe somebody who thinks they can sweat all of that off of them? lol

I went for a nice long walk today, and did a 15 minute cardio workout at home, for a total of 12,800 steps - my daily goal is 12,000!

That's gonna be a long ride, but I'm sure you'll do awesome! How much did you end up raising for it?

Talk about an early morning!  What was your goal to raise? Because that to me sounds like an awesome amount! And best of luck, I'm sure you'll do amazingly!

Yay for hitting minimum goal and let's go for the push to the real goal

4:01 am train.....I'm not sure if that's better or worse than we I had to catch a 12:13 a.m. bus from Madrid to Granada....after having flown back from Athens to Madrid....but I was biking for 90km the next morning, I slept!

Anyways, how is everyone doing on their fitness goals? I'm still in a plateau and need to work on that - some days it's hard to get my exercise in simply because I'm either exhausted, not feeling well or just want more sleep!

Aww well at least you finished! I know that was my goal when I ran the half marathon - just wanted to finish - that 13.1 miles took me about 3 1/2 hours I think

Bought my plane tickets to my next marathon.

I'm averaging  sub 9 minute miles on run < 6 miles, sub 9:30s on < 13s and the one 16 miler I did I average 10 flat.

I'm targeting a sub 5 hour marathon, with my "oh my god i'm the king of the world time" sub 4:30.

Last year I ran the same marathon in 5:42.

Oh, it got depinned and it's probably in the woodwork, I might be able to drudge it back up!
