I haven't forgotten about this game btw. Wanted to focus on catching up on the other game first to make up for missing a deadline, and its taking longer than I thought.

I don't think it works very well. The first approximation that's not too far off for practical job is 22/7.

Calculus is fun. It was the first time in my life that I felt like math could actually have practical application and not just be a random hobby.

Thats how I feel about physics and I feel its much more accurate.

Physics without calculus? That's like a movie without color.

 

But I can do physics using calc. Its just when using it for physics my numbers mean something!

 

And a movie without color doesnt matter much to a blind man. I dont know where im going with that analogy.

Csarmi is also a linguistics geek though.  Semitics languages have some very interesting morphology.

Well that is the whole reason calc was invented you know.  Both Newton and Leibniz were very practically minded.

Well, it´s the BT after all. No thread that doesn´t end with food. 

 

I long for something yummy. We got some sort of fish at work today. It´s great to get free food but some days it´s hard to say if it´s really food for humans.
