New month, new roll call. One of my favourite asha´mans is Damer Flinn. If it wasn´t for him, Rand would not have lived to see the last battle. The asha´mans were trained to be weapons and I guess that is why we only see one great asha´man healer. Unfortunately, we can´t heal with saidin. We have to use other methods. Do you have any good tips? What do you do when you become sick or injure yourself? Or what do you do to prevent becoming sick? 5 points for signing and 5 additional points for sharing good tips.

 

 

Whenever I get a cold I use to eat a lot of garlic and fruits that are filled with vitamin C (especially kiwi). I´m not sure if I get well quicker that way but at least I do something. lol 

For a cold or cough I wait til its real bad and then take a swig of this cough medicine called Irish Moss.  The stuff is DISGUSTING. but one big swig and it kills the bugs.

 

I suffer from migraines and i find that a hot shower, just running the water over my head helps ease it. then if i can sleep its mostly gone

I'm trying to find ways to boost my immunity since I'm working with kids now. First thing I do is drink a glass of all-natural orange juice every morning. I also drink a lot of all-natural, freshly brewed green tea throughout the day. Then a multi-vitamin in the evening.

 

Also, I'm getting a flu shot today. Never had one before and I'm a bit nervous.

I usually try to get more sleep and actively think about getting better. I also look for vitamin C and try to remember where I put those multivitamins...

As for my methods of "Healing" sicknesses I just call into work when I start to feel off from my normal feeling and then drink plenty of fluids (OJ if a cold) and SLEEP ALL DAY until feeling better.

I don't get normal everyday colds, I normally wind up with sinus infections that require me to go to the doc and get all sorts of meds since nothing OTC helps me. That said, I usually go a couple years between sinus infections.

If it's a migraine sleep is the only thing that works for me.

 

Also, make sure you drink plenty of fluids, even if you don't want to.

When I get sick I tend drink emergen-C and orange juice. Other than that I take what I need to to get through the day. That and sleep as often and Kailyn lets me.

Depends, I usually dose up on Vit C. If I'm not feeling well, and it wont seem to develop into something, I usually go to the gym, it will either bring what ails me out, or gets rid of it. mostly it gets rid of it.
