Italian food in Italy is sooooo amazing though

And greek food isn't too shabby either!

Sadly, I was only at the brussels airport and never got to try real Belgian food  or real Belgian chocolate!

Belgian chocolate is worth it ... belgian food, well, it's mostly fries with meat in sauce (it's super good but nothing really spiffy)

@ Cindy : i'm jealous >.<

I so wanted Belgium chocolate, but I could only get so close in an airport lol even with a six hour layover there *sigh*

*brings some virtual ones*

I lurve the dark chocolate ones.

See I can be nice!

I can only eat the dark chocolate ones though! Literally, since I'm allergic to the milk in the other

*nods* I'm well aware....*steals all the dark chocolate that are left before Brid eats them all*

Um if it has black pepper I would not have ate it, even if it was also dark chocolate. Bleh pepper...

I put a small amount of pepper in stuff to season, very very small! But oh dark chocolate, I love it! But alas, all I have at home is black cherry jello

that reminds me that there're weird restaurants here in Belgium where they serve beef with dark chocolate sauce.

i'm curious about it, but i don't think i'll dare to try it.

I would try it....with the sauce on the side. And to be honest, if it doesn't look gross or smell like cheese, if you don't tell me what it is, I'll at least try it....and then if you tell me I just ate blood sausage I might freak out <-- yep, that happened! lol

A lot of times that sauce is almost bitter chocolate. Very high percentage of actual chocolate with minimal sugar, so very savory. I'm startin to drool a bit now.

@ Brid, so u actually tried it  ?

but i have heard that it's a special kind of chocolate. One of my colleagues told me that he had tried to prepare that at home but, as he had bought the wrong kind of chocolate, his dish was awful lol
