I've had enough alcohol to know the dif. I live in everclear country. this stuff is qualitatively different. I've read the same articles you have and I wholly believed them until I tried this poison.

 

less than a shot of absinthe causes me to have some damn scary psychotic symptoms (I don't hallucinate, I become delusional, perseverative, and suicidal for no reason whatsoever), and amnesia for the event. luckily I have the Internet to remind me what it's done to my brain.
